Q - I was thinking just yesterday that I wished I lived in Des Moines and had season tickets to the Iowa Wolves. Seriously, I really was thinking that yesterday. Are the games available on line?

Lip, nearly all the games can be streamed live right from the G League website. You can also watch replays of prior games, so it's very easy to watch. It's quality basketball and reminds me of the season I spent a lot of time watching JMac, Nowell, and Naz in Iowa.

Thanks, Q. I'm going to start watching the Iowa team regularly. I'm sure I'll find it refreshing.

I'm ready for a road trip to see them! I've got many clients in Des Moines so dinner and drinks on me! (Well technically not...but free to anyone that wants to join me).

Unfortunately or maybe fortunately I think you will be seeing the Iowa wolves at target center any day now

I have family in the area and I need reasons to go visit them.

Iowa with another win earlier today. Interestingly, Luka Garza played while Moore and Minott stayed with the big league team. I'm a bit surprised because after Gobert and Naz, we have no Center, although I guess going Center-less for a spell if someone gets hurt is probably no big deal these days.
Anywho, Garza scored 33 points, although he took more shots that usual to get there, as he was "only" 10-21 from the field and 1-4 from 3. He got to the line a bunch though and made his free throws.
The other guy that continues to impress the hell out of me is PJ Dozier. He's like the Kyle Anderson of our G-League team. He comes off the bench and calmly makes an impact on both ends. But on defense especially, he just helps lock everything down. Hell of a defender.
Dozier is 2nd in the entire G-League in Net Rating for players averaging 15 minutes or more per game. Who's first you might ask? Luka Garza.

So you have already dismissed Nathan Knight?!? ;-)

The Iowa team finally succumbed to the talent drain, with Garza, Lawson, Minott, and Moore all up with the big league team. They lost a close one yesterday 113-110.
Dozier, who had been coming off the bench, got the start and was our best player. He had 22/6/2 along with 2 steals and a block in 28 minutes. He was a +13 on a night we lost and continues to be one of the G-League leaders in net rating.
If we ever decide to go with a more position-less lineup and basically throw a bunch of wings on the floor, this guy could be part of it. He is one of these swiss-army knife players that can guard a bunch of positions, handle the ball, and rebound.
