IMO Ant's attacking and finishing at the Rim seems to have taken a significant leap. His season stats say he is getting there more but finishing about the same. His 3-10 foot shot percentage is a career high so that's a positive too. Plus he is doing all this playing a bunch of minutes while not being fully healthy. It's impressive and the guy is mostly really fun to watch.

Anthony Edwards in the win tonight over Memphis
Points: 25
Rebounds: 7
Assists: 7
3P%: 60%
2P%: 46.2%

Previous 10 games
Points: 27.8
Rebounds: 5.0
Assists: 4.8
3P%: 39.5% (34/86)
2P%: 49.6%

Anthony Edwards is clearly the one very bright spot for the Wolves this season. We have our star in the making. Now it's a matter of surrounding him with the right blend of talent.

Ant may or may not make the all star game (I think he just misses it) but he has taken a leap and that is huge because when the wolves made this trade it is made with the belief that Ant and Jaden are legit cornerstone guys and they are proving that now. Is Jaden the best non lotto pick in wolves history?

Also a little off topic I think it is dumb as hell that media members have been voting for PG and Kawhi to make the all star game. When all the media complains about load management but then awards the players anyways. You know who doesn't miss games and that is Ant

Totally agree, kek. Ant and Jaden are proving themselves to be legit cornerstone guys with Ant taking the huge leap we were all hoping for. I also think you're probably right that Ant won't make the all-star team. That's fine. If nothing else, it will probably fuel him to work even harder. Imagine if he comes to camp in game shape rather than cheeseburger shape next fall.

Great point about the media voter hypocrisy as they reward load management over an iron-man player averaging 25 points per game.

I think it's Nikola Pekovic by a considerable margin at this point, but that could change if Jaden McDaniels takes another step in his development.

However, I would bet McDaniels makes his first All-Defensive Team this year unless some top notch snubbery takes place. Foul issues aside, he's been great on that end and it's beginning to get noticed nationally.

Pek was the other guy in my mind when I asked the question. Pek was so freaking underrated sucks his feet got in the way. Hope he is enjoying the drug lord life.

This is sad list to think about because I believe the 3rd on this list would be Rasho Nesterovi? which I believe he was pick 17 or 18.

I'm going with Gorgui Dieng at number two or three depending on where Jaden McDaniels falls. The list isn't great, though. The Timberwolves have an awful draft history.

Good pull I would put Jaden ahead both those guys. But we all can agree this is a sad sad list.

Tyus Jones was a pretty solid pick. I'll also mention Bjelicia. I have to give a shout out to Craig Smith even though he wasn't as good as others mentioned I just really enjoyed watching that guy play.
