You could feel the game changing in the third quarter, but especially when the Rockets went on that 13-2 run or whatever it was. Chris Finch stuck with that lineup a bit longer than he maybe should have. Doesn't feel like Minnesota ever fully recovered. What a disgusting loss.

With 5:07 left in the third quarter, Jaylen Nowell made a three-pointer to tie the game at 74-74.

Houston would then go on a 13-3 run and eventually finish the quarter with a 90-81 lead. Minnesota was outscored 16-7 in those final five minutes.

Basketball is a game of runs, but man... the Timberwolves cannot let these bad teams go on stretches like that. That 13-3 run was with Austin Rivers, Anthony Edwards, Jaylen Nowell, Nathan Knight, and Naz Reid on the floor. They have to be better than that. Period.

We need another vet that can actually play. If we dont have Prince or Slowmo we cave under any pushback. The next 5 will test our mettle. Id really like to hand it to the Pelicans and Sac but Im less optimistic than this morning.

Naz Reid looks like he is being phased out as Knight is getting more love. Wish I hadn't picked him up in Fantasy. Good chance he is gone soon, but not expecting Wolves to recoup much more than a second rounder.
