FNG, I think you are over the target when you say Okogie not playing has had an impact on both offense and defense. I wouldn't necessarily want him to play more, but he does make a difference. I also think KAT has gradually expended more energy on offense, and less on defense. And because I believe defense starts from the inside, this has had a big impact too.

At this point I would strongly consider moving KAT. He has become annoying to watch, and would net a huge gain.

I (and many others here) share your frustration with KAT's antics on the court. Last night I watched the Chicago feed, and they commented a couple times on fast break opportunities that happened because he was busy complaining rather than getting back on defense. It's inexcusable, and his constant whining only makes him less popular with the refs.

The problem is this...he's so frickin' good. I don't know if you've watched the last few games, but he is almost unstoppable now when he drives to the basket. The defender has to respect the 3-pointer, because he makes 41% of them, and that gives KAT all he needs to beat him. His offense game has moved to a new level in the past couple weeks...he's the complete package with scoring, and getting even more versatile. And his distributing is getting better and better too...16 assists and only 3 TOs in the past 2 games.

I wish I liked him better, because he is so good but so difficult to like on the court.

He is insanely talented, but he has never led this team anywhere. He is not a leader, I don't see him accepting a backup role,.and he rubs off on our young talent in a bad way.

Well, if it makes anyone feel better about the loss, Chicago beat OKC tonight too.
