I will assume you meant Orlando Robinson as there is nobody named Oscar Robinson to my knowledge listed as a draft entrant. If so, I listed him in my second round board as someone to consider in the second round. I do like his length with a 7'4 wingspan and his all around game. He's got some range for a big man. I also liked his steady improvement over three year at Fresno State. I really haven't taken a very deep dive on him, but his stats across the board are generally good and there might be something there. NBA DraftNet compared him to Vooch and said this "Playing style is sort of like a poor man's Karl Anthony Towns ... Despite not being the most athletic big, uses skill and a high basketball IQ to beat opponents ..." He might be someone to target in the 48/50 range.

As a poor man's KAT, Robinson is completely penniless. I don't think he's an NBA caliber player. I think of him more as a poor man's Greg Monroe. I wouldn't use any of our picks on him.
David Roddy is in interesting and unique player. He weighs in at 260lbs and 12% body fat. Even if he dropped 10% of his body fat ( to sure that would be realistic) he would still be 234 lbs. he had a really good lane agility score and 10 sec shuttle was pretty good for someone like that. Imagine if he dropped JUST 15 lbs. He has improved his 3 point shot and shot over 40% on a decent volume this year. He was their top rebounder every year. Obviously I'm more aware of him since he is a local MN kid but he seems like he could be a nice 2nd round pick and would give the Wolves a physically stout dude with some skill.

I don't get the Greg Monroe comp. I think he is more similar to Naz Reid or maybe even a less athletic Nathan Knight.

The Greg Monroe comparison means long and slow. Naz Reid is much quicker and more nimble than Robinson. You're thinking of Robinson's shooting. In that sense, yes he's more like Reid than Monroe.

Now, I'm in the extreme minority here and I'd take Montero at 19 or trade back up into round 1 for him.
If he's there at 40, touchdown.
Assuming he isn't, I'm hoping someone like Max Christie is there at 40 as a Beasley replacement.
at 48 and 50, I'm stashing away. Ibou Dianko Badji or Yannick Nzosa at 48 and Ziga Samar at 50.
I really like Montero, but I can't see taking him at 19. I'd definitely take him at 40 if he's available then. If the Wolves could acquire another, lower, 1st round pick in the 20s, I could see using that lower pick to take Montero. I suspect we're both in an extreme minority on this.
A note that may be worth considering here from Hollinger's latest draft article on the Athletic
"o International man of mystery to watch: Karlo Matkovi? of KK Mega Bemax. He put his name back in the draft an hour after pulling his name out, which is a strong indication that he has a promise in the second round from one of the teams with multiple second-round picks. He's already under contract for EuroCup team Cedevita next season, so he'll be in a strong stash situation. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to think Minnesota -- whose new president, Tim Connelly, has a wee bit of history drafting big guys from Mega -- might be a landing spot."
On the subject of foreign prospects and potential draft-and-stash targets, I remain a big fan of the just-turned 20-years old, Italian wing Gabriele Procida. Standing at 6'7" and almost 200-pounds, Procida is a very fluid athlete with surprising explosiveness that he utilizes in the open court. His calling card at the NBA level will be his ability to drain perimeter shots with ease. He has a very repeatable shot motion that he pairs with a strong and balanced base. He's able to get his shot off in a variety of ways despite having a limited handle at this point in his development. Overall, Procida has shown an intriguing combination of size, skill, athleticism, and efficiency while playing for Fortitudo Bologna. Like I've mentioned before, it's difficult to project exactly where these draftees will fall given how closely ranked many of them are, but I would like to see Minnesota use one of their three second-round picks on Procida. I think there's a chance he winds up being one of the better value picks in this class.
