Some of my favorite jerseys I've seen fans wearing are:

Golden State Sprewell

Grizzlies Mike Bibby

Vintage well used Larry Bird

Love it! Summer League is really fun. I've been to a lot of them. My wife and I plan on going again next summer. Keep your reports coming, Monster.

I'm stationed out of Houston, TX right now, so I turn on the local game last night, who is #28 this kid has some skills. Well it's Alperen Sengun of Turkey, if you don't know much about him and have some time look him up.

I know it's Summer League but shooting from the logo with confidence with a 6'10" frame this kid might be fun to watch.

Could be a nice find for the Rockets, TU. He's blocked 4 shots in each of his first 2 games, and he went 15/15 in his first game and 20/8 last night.

I only caught the 2nd game but yeah that's pretty impressive.

I had no idea who he was while watching the game but he played really well and was just fun to watch.

Monster, where are you staying? You may want to wander around Bellagio in your spare time, because it seems like many of the NBA players stay there during summer league. You won't find them at the nickel slots though!

More game reports:

Celtics Nuggets

Dana Altman was in the house to watch Prichard and Bol Bol. He was sitting a couple rows in front of me.

Celtics perimeter players were very good in this game. IMHO Pritchard was the best player on the floor. He was getting what he wanted both to make plays and to score almost whenever he wanted. If this wasn't a blowout he likely would have had a triple double. Meanwhile a arson Edwards wasn't as good as his stat line but he was the smallest guy on the floor rebounding making plays etc. Nesmith was on fire making uncontested and highly contested shots. I thought Langford actually did well with the opportunities he had as a ball handler. He had a dunk that got people out of their seats.

B Fernando did some good things for the Celtics while he was in there. He moved his feet well on D and he was going against some size against the Nuggets. Basically the Celtics starting 5 was all NBA players except ai wasn't sure of Fernando was but he played very solid in this game.

Bol Bol had a nice enough game. His skillet is unique and even as thin as he was he was able to finish through some contact. He does seem to be able to move his feel well including back peddling while moving laterally. There aren't many guys in the NBA with his length and he is clearly skilled but he is still not strong and I don't know what he can ultimately be. I'd certainly like to have him on my roster but I'm not convinced he is going to be amazing. I hope he becomes a good player. Oh and for some reason some very loud fans started doing the Giannis count when he was at the FT line even though he was not taking a long time. It SEEMED to throw him a bit which in a way makes sense it was kinda weird...especially at summer league.

Clippers blazers

Blazers had in interesting team including Fariid Beasley and Mudiay

I shoulda brought Beas some Skittles he didn't look any more significant than a typical summer league guy in this game.

I think Fariid's athletism has clearly declined there were a few times shorter guys got a rebound that was in an area you would expect him to come down with it.

Mudiay actually did some nice things. He has plenty of girth and found ways to use it. He did a nice job driving to the basket and getting open looks. When they built a lead he was part of the reason why.

Clippers Coffey and Oturu

Coffey blocked Beas on one possession. He also cut his hair. Offensively he is a guy that could play backup Pg as a wing but didn't do much in terms of scoring. I think of him as a Culver type player but I think he has shot the 3 better of the 2. Of course Culver costs like 4x times as much... oh and Coffey got tossed for arguing a call. Didn't seem like he was going bonkers but the official was right there.

Oturu is a really solid looking guy. Seems to get gassed easily tho. He looks like a guy that could be a complimentary Center off the bench. If he is a starter he is a center he simply isn't a PF.
