That's why we lost.
This is the main reason for sure, but it doesn't get any easier when you're getting half as many calls as your opponent. Just a really poorly officiated game. And like usual, there will be no accountability.
Heck, take Bev out of it - at least he did SOME good things - and just look at our bench. 5-26 from the field and 7 total rebounds. That is just ridiculously bad.

I know, such an idiotic move. And why is a contested 3 always needed? Not sure why they didn't get it to him at the mid-post around the free throw line. He has a lot of success and fewer TOs when he gets it there.
I'm dangling Malik Beasley/Taurean Prince, Jaden McDaniels, and the 2022 first-round pick before the deadline and hoping Sacramento or Detroit bites. Give me Harrison Barnes or Jerami Grant on this team. I have to hope Sachin Gupta pursues this route over the Ben Simmons nonsense.

I hope that pick has protection. But I am ok with the general idea. Our bench stinks. We got a nice push from Nowell for a few games but the last two were bad.

That's pretty much the most I'd be willing to offer, but the Wolves are so desperate for competent two-way wing play that I think they can justify making a move like this.

Nowell played 1 min and 43 seconds vs NO and didn't play vs Memphis due to injury. Not sure you can blame him for either loss.

(I think he meant the bench in general was bad the last two games and they were good before that because of Nowell).
Just to to put an exclamation point on the bench issue, the undrafted John Konchar had 15 points, 17 rebounds, and 3 assists in 30 minutes off the bench for Memphis.
Our ENTIRE bench had 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in 67 minutes.
This says two things: 1) Memphis has absolutely killed it with their rebuild. Besides getting a couple of blue-chippers in Jackson Jr. and Morant, they unearthed John Konchar, picked Desmond Bane, and signed Tyus Jones - smart, fairly inexpensive players that are punching way above their weight right now, and 2) Gupta, fix our bench!!!

Meh. The bench had nothing to do with it. They played virtually even with Memphis.
