How many more 20 point losses do the wolves need before Ryan gets fired

Nobody in their right mind would want to coach the Wolves.

No coach could get 20 wins out of this roster as long as KAT is sitting.

I think Rosas strings him along until KAT gets back (that's assuming a swarm of South American killer bees don't attack him shortly after being cleared from Covid quarantine).

Rosas can use KAT being out as an excuse to delay firing Saunders, which in turn allows him to further delay his own accountability for this mess. Abe sniffed this out weeks ago. It could also be that Taylor won't give the green light to fire him until later in the season or offseason too.

I don't really disagree with you in theory but the wolves are not even competitive

Blame the players or the front office then. Why is this bad roster and the players failure to execute, in your mind, primarily Ryan's fault? A new coach won't solve anything.

This isn't an either/or issue. This roster, especially without KAT, is pretty bad. But that doesn't mean the team wouldn't be better than it's been if it had a better head coach. Ryan is even clueless when it comes to using challenges. He's in way over his head. However, I agree that we have a fundamental roster problem. This all ties back to Rosas. This team is headed for a total rebuild under a new front office. It's just a matter of when.

I didn't watch tonight's game, so I'm interested in some insights from those who did. I saw the box score, which suggests that DLO was terrible, shooting 28% from the field (1-7 from behind the arc) with 0 rebounds and 2 turnovers. The only starter who looked good in the box score was Beasley. Edwards took more than half his shots from behind the arc. That's not a good sign.

Can't believe Wolves gave up draft picks to trade for someone even worse. This franchise is cursed.

The franchise isn't cursed. It's just stupid.

Im not saying a new coach comes in and is now the Wolves are fighting for a playoff spot tomorrow without Kat. I am just saying Ryan is now 40-84 in his career. If you take out his 1st half season where he took over for Thibs where the Wolves had a worse record, Offensive Rating and Defensive Rating under Saunders. Ryan is 23-59 (.280), the Wolves are 27-49 (.335) in games Kat has played under Saunders. In Kat career not coached by Saunders the Wolves winning % is .435, even if you take out the outlier good season the Wolves are (.378). This goes along with the Wolves are dead last this year in net rating. No player outside of Naz has shown a noticable imporvment when Ryan has been their coach. We are seeing regression out of Dlo, Okogie, Rubio, Culver. Players like Saric wanted out of minnesota. Wiggins was taking shots at Ryan after their 1st win against us saying its "nice being prepared here (with the Warriors) its like when I had Thibs". That also goes along with Ryan was so underprepared to be the head coach. He is the youngest coach in NBA history. He has a pretty bad coaching tree for new age basketball in Tubby, Flip, Whittman, Mitchell and Thibs.

Is Ryan the main reason why the Wolves are struggling this year probably not but he is going to be the scapegoat in all this. Its not like he is doing himself any favors to keep his job. He has used 2 challenges this year and he is 0-2. Ryan is a great guy and I hope he succeeds going forward I just can't see anyway that Ryan is our coach of the future and Im ready to rip off the bandied and see what Vanderpool can do who has been in the running for a ton of Head Coach positions.
