Too bad Philly is playing so well. 8-2 in the last 10. But I'm hoping Jimmy goes down for 15 games or so.
It's only a matter of time before Jimmy decides he's the most important player on that team. Will be fun to watch when he does.
He put up more shots than Simmons and Embiid combined tonight. Had a big game though in a losing effort. Hahahahaha
Big game by Jimmy last night, but the Sixers still lost to Toronto. Time for Butler to exert his leadership. He need to tell his teammates how much harder he works than they do. Then he needs to get in touch with his Chicago reporter friend and tell him he's frustrated by Simmons' poor shooting and that Embiid needs to defer to him more.

That's what I was going to write. That team was right there for three quarters. Then, the difference in energy was startling in the 4th quarter. Granted, the Wolves deserve credit for some of that.
It's times like this when it might be beneficial to check out other team's forums. I have to imagine we'd realize that other teams have problems, too... and that some of our fanbase's problems aren't quite as earth-shattering as we think they are.
The Hornets fanbase has every reason to be buzzing after that 4th quarter.

Ha, so true! I didn't see the game, but Teague's box score is nothing short of jaw-dropping,
And Duke, no positive comments from me about Tyus tonight...he was scoreless in a minus 16 in his 14 minutes. Souunds like Thibs made the right call in riding Teague last night.
ALLDAYCHRIS wrote:Tyus did have a money pass that set up a nice bucket underneath. (To Saric I beleive)
I don't think he will ever be a scorer but thibs trusts him to run the team and take care if the ball which I feel he does well
You can never have too many quality smart ball handlers
Yeah, I feel very comfortable with Tyus on the court...never thought that he would be the defensive force he has become, but there are absolutely no safe passing lanes when he and RoCo are on the court together...it's a steals festival! Sounds like last night was on off night for Tyus though.
Doogie keeps mentioning the Suns interest in Tyus. Does Bayless's return from injury make Tyus more available? If the Wolves could get the Suns to take Dieng along with Tyus, would you consider it?
And I must say I was very impressed with Max-Wiggins last night. Sure hope that continues!
I wouldn't even consider it at this point. We're playing good basketball and have chemistry going for us. Also if you take diengs contract out of the picture he's actually pretty solid when given the chance.
Maybe if they're out of it for some reason at the deadline and the Suns make it more than a salary dump but I don't think that'll be the case.
Thibs is only 1 injury away from needing either player to play important minutes for us this year
I'd definitely be in favor of flipping Tyus for a future asset. Would make a lot of sense to do so before he gets a pay increase. Smart franchises do this, unfortunately we aren't considered as such. Zero chance Phoenix takes Gorgui in a Tyus trade.

Can you tell me an example of a playoff contender that flips a rotation piece for a future assets during the season. You say smart teams do this but I can't think of any examples

Duke also you state that it makes sence to trade him before he gets a pay increase, yet he is under contract next season at a very comfortable $3,573,204 from what I can find on a quick google search
