Whoa.....there are people that see Okogie as a better Dipo? I have seen nothing that makes me think this guy is a starting caliber player in the NBA. Just don't like him as a player. Love the hustle, but I just don't see the skill.

Twolf fans have been clamoring for okogie to start ahead of wiggs for almost a year now. Some see him as a potential all star.

Contested floaters, bank shot 3s, multiple 4-point players....I mean, we have the worst luck of any team when it comes to opposing team FG% on contested shots.

I do agree with this. I have been super calm this season but damn I was getting frustrated tonight.

I am happy for Wiggins though he's been good to start the season. Now he has had similar starts to the season before so in no way am I getting my hopes up. He is making a lot better basketball IQ plays

Not blaming kat, but he looked out of sorts on both ends tonight. That 2 game rust is real.

He was playing his best defense before the suspension.

He sucked. He has to be better if we're going to win any night.

We've been beaten up by big teams and memphis is another one of those teams.

I dont think he sucked, he just didnt impose his will on the game like he can.

Lip is the one that has compared Okogie to Dipo, but I never heard him say he'd be better than him. He thought Dipo was his ceiling.

Okogie has a ton of work to do on his ball handling and outside shooting to even become a poor man's Dipo.

The shot selection is a gazillion times better (coaching!) and he's actually starting to make some more. Still, he was part of the problem defensively tonight. He made a lot of losing plays on that end of the court (along with others).

Pretty nuanced. 1-5 in the 4th and their bigs feasted on us with easy baskets and rebounds. Kind of sucky from my vantage point. Im confident hes not happy about it and will bounce back. I just dont trust anyone else to help him next time.

I didn't watch the game tonight. But judging from the score, the Wolves must have been awfully bad on the defensive end. Looks like the Grizzlies guards/wings feasted on the Wolves perimeter defense tonight with PG Morant scoring 26 points, SG Brooks scoring 30 and SF Crowder scoring 18.

Alas, the Wolves are now in 9th place in the Conference, which is really where they belong. The 4-1 start was nice except to the extent it created a false sense of hope for this season's Wolves. There are some positives. We're 4-3 and Wiggins is playing well. But this still looks like a lottery team to me, although if Wiggins continues his improved play it looks more like a 38-win team than a 28-win team.

Saunders just said post-game that he thinks 34 minutes is heavy usage for starters. When did the league get like this? 36 used to be standard starter's minutes and now 34 is heavy? What the fuck?
