I do - its every time he opens his mouth - of all the guys I have had to listen to - Towns just says bullshit - its all spin. He is trying to build a brand - but he is not likable in any way.

Whether it's here or elsewhere... I'm 100% sure that we're going to read/hear Towns revelatory interview where he says he's figured things out and that he has his priorities or whatever aligned and that he understands everything so much more clearly now -- and everything has changed.
I'm 50% sure that we'll read a similar story from him another five years after the first.
I am pretty down on Towns right now, I got the impression that Dieng is actually the real leader of the team right now. I have a sneaky feeling that Towns told Rosa he will not play with anyone he doesnt like - like Teague, Dieng, etc. I think the Jimmy experience broke him.

"I'm going to act super pissed because this is how the star SHOULD act! I want you all to know that I'm really, really mad! Mmmph!"
He comes off as a drama-queen a little too often for my tastes. How about actually making a clutch shot for once!? *
* It's the most Wolvesian thing ever that in the other epic meltdown game vs. OKC that he MADE a shot he was supposed to miss. Doh!
Agreed hard to know what is real and fake when it comes to Kat when talking to the media
Totally agree with all of this (and Apollo). I've been tired of hearing this guy talk since he got here. Was trying to look past his weird personality if he was doing well on the court, but at this point screw it. Everyone saw it, Butler just said it out loud.

But KG is right too. The Napier/McLauglin/Culver/Okogie guard rotation has to be the worst in the NBA. Oh, they are all likeable and easy to root for. But that is by far the worst NBA backcourt rotation in the league...has to be. Now you could take any one of them and stick them into a rotation with three other average to good guards and their teams would probably be OK. But to have all four playing 100% of the guard minutes!? Right there is the #1 reason we suck.
This is a guard-oriented League and, as you pointed out, we have one of the worst collection of guards in the League. And Ryan plays combinations of that weak group that make it even worse. It's a three-point League and, other KAT and to a lesser extent RoCo, we have an absolutely terrible collection of 3-point shooters. It's a lack of talent, a poor combination of talent and yes, poor use of the talent we have by a head coach who is clearly in over his head.
Our G's are 27th in OFFRTG, but they are 7th in the entire league in DEFRTG - but they still have a net negative rating.
Conversely - our F's are 5th in OFFRTG but 27th in DEFRTG, also resulting in a net negative number.
At center we are surprisingly 24th in OFFRTG and 14th in DEFRTG
I get our ratings at the G position - I can see that in the product on the floor.
These are from NBA.com - I looked up who they were counting at what position and now I understand all these positional numbers are hot garbage as they list the entire team at F - the G and C numbers are close, they have Towns, Dieng, and Reid as our only C's.
This further illustrates the confusion of what the hell are we doing. Ried who has our only net positive rating at C has played the LEAST amount of minutes. They (coaches and Rosa) need to play him to see if he can play that role and watch to see if he develops. Hell, I know Towns will never turn the corner on defense - I have watched most of his games and it just never appears. Wiggins has shown he can be something which is why nobody is that surprised he can play like a superstar when his bestie yells at him and reminds him he is not a top 100 player in a video game.
Culver, Okogie, Nowell - why are these guys not getting all the G minutes? McLaughlin getting minutes should happen I guess to see if he can be an end of the bench guy.
Did they think that playing the irrelevant to the process guys would get us fans excited? Do they think they can win with that? Why would they not call it a development year and see what the younger guys can do with Towns, Wigs, and Covington? The rotation and game management has been bad - it makes zero sense if we are trying to win OR tank (ok I guess the record proves that whatever they are doing is tank friendly).
To all the OMG Towns is a generational talent - why can he not win then? If its a G league and we put all our eggs in the opposite of that - why don't we trade his ass for G's on a team that is dumb enough to take him?
