The Rose deal is a vets minimum deal. While in the 2.3 mil range for his years of service, it will only count as 1.5 mil towards the luxury tax. This deal just makes too much sense for the Wolves, and I am glad Rose is committed enough to agree right away.

It is a no risk deal for Minnesota. I hated when we signed him during the season. But he played very well and brought a spark to the team, all be it super small sample size. If he plays like he did at the end of the year he is worth more than the vet min and if he returns to what he was then he is a vet min player.
- Joe Harris signed for two-years, $16M with Brooklyn. Wolves never showed interest, according to Wolfson.
- Ed Davis signed for one-year, $4.4M with Brooklyn.
The Nets plucked two of my wishlist free agents and got them on decent contracts. I continue to love how that franchise is being run ever since Sean Marks took over.

I agree, took a super shitty situation and is turning it around. Now they are no longer owe the Celtics picks. I want them to succeed because they get shit on all the time but I will never blame a team for going for the championship even though it went real south real fast
