I don't care who's fault it is, but if we're going to win we need more from Ricky and KAT every night. Ricky was good tonight and is maybe turning a corner. KAT hasn't had it.
May I suggest we stop with the corner talk? It appears to more like a bunch of pirouettes to me.
I honestly just wrote that to not try and look like I was piling on Rubio after a decent effort. You're right though. There's nothing we can say with confidence about this team.

We have a bunch of great individual pieces but until they learn to play together as a unit both offensively and defensively this is what we will get
That is a job of a coach of young talent. Thibs was gifted a great hand of veteran/young mix in Chicago with a weak conference. I think most of us expected far too much. Personally, I wasn't a big hater of Mitchell, but I wasn't against a change either. I wanted an Ollie type first, but Thibs was also high on my wishlist. Its hard to argue that we are headed in the wrong direction at this moment.
Agreed but I can go with an argument that Ollie's UCONN team is garbage but he is such a great coach. I mean it is a players league.
I think both sides of the Thibs debate are right. It's possible for Thibs to be a great coach, while not necessarily being the right coach for this group of players.
This team lacks joy and collapses the second an ounce of pressure is put on them. There is no fight in these dogs. The coach can't be completely let off the hook for that.

Oh I agree I would be dumb if I didn't consider it. I just think we have nobody who steps up when needed. It is hard for me to put more blame on him when I like his rotations and I think we are getting decent looks but we are settling. We need vets

Great is a huge stretch. Great coaches don't have losing records in the playoffs and get outcoached by Sam Mitchell. He's getting exposed as a mediocre coach who isn't adaptable.

Dieng and Rubio are vets and having the worst years of their career. This is not just about not having vets. I think Thibs has sucked the life force out of these guys. He needs vets that eat nails for breakfast like he does or are really hungry Mofos. Noah, Gibson, Butler....those guys seemed to thrive with his style. Not our guys.

I was talking about Ollie everyone wanted him but now they are garbage dosen't mean he isn't a great coach. It is for the most part a players league
