That is a job of a coach of young talent. Thibs was gifted a great hand of veteran/young mix in Chicago with a weak conference. I think most of us expected far too much. Personally, I wasn't a big hater of Mitchell, but I wasn't against a change either. I wanted an Ollie type first, but Thibs was also high on my wishlist. Its hard to argue that we are headed in the wrong direction at this moment.

Agreed but I can go with an argument that Ollie's UCONN team is garbage but he is such a great coach. I mean it is a players league.

Oh I agree I would be dumb if I didn't consider it. I just think we have nobody who steps up when needed. It is hard for me to put more blame on him when I like his rotations and I think we are getting decent looks but we are settling. We need vets

Great is a huge stretch. Great coaches don't have losing records in the playoffs and get outcoached by Sam Mitchell. He's getting exposed as a mediocre coach who isn't adaptable.
