. @WindhorstESPN on ESPN just now says Flip is trying to trade back into the 1st. Says they do want to grab Tyus Jones.

I like it. A kid with a great basketball IQ and championship pedigree.

I know some on here will roll their eyes. But I wouldn't hate it either. Kid has been successful at every level. And is very young. Would be fun to watch.

I'm sure you think it's being a homer. But he's been showing up as a mid to late 1st rounder in all National mocks. So, it's not like posters are over valuing him by saying he'd be a nice pick up at the end of the 1st round. That's where he's at on the scale right now.

Defense anyone?.....Anyone? Hello?

(we need shooting too, but it's a distant second to defense).

Actually I've read good things about his defense. He's white but very athletic.

44" vertical.

Yup, don't disagree. I don't like him for our squad. We have too many one-way, offensively-oriented players IMO. Since LaVine, Wiggins, Martin, and Bazz aren't going anywhere, we need someone in our perimeter positions other than Rubio and Wiggins that can play defense. So for me it's a combination of not thinking his game really translates well at the next level and his lack of defensive chops.

My mistake for not being clear. My issue was Flip's comment on needing backcourt help and shooting. I'd like to hear him mention the word "defense" for once.

Holy Nuts! At least we're not Sacramento! What a shitshow they've got going on.

It's times like this I actually appreciate the insider culture that Taylor has with Flip, especially with Flip as GM and coach. There's very little (public) drama.

Buzz on Kaminsky moving up. People making jokes. Calling him Spencer Hawes or Channing Frye.

http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2015/story/_/id/13147950/nba-draft-2015-nba-draft-buzz-rumors

Am I crazy, or is Frank Kaminsky WAY better than people give the guy credit for?! He outplayed Okafor, Cauley-Stein, and Towns. His numbers were crazy good. He was the best player on the championship team. Everybody talks about Towns' PER setting him apart from Okafor . . . umm, Kaminsky's was higher! Yeah, he's a couple years older, which is part of why I wouldn't take him over Towns or Okafor at all, but does this guy deserve to be the butt of jokes? C'mon.
