Kg on kat
"He is especially close with KAT, who just signed a five-year, $190-million contract. The two bigs still talk regularly and KG lauded Towns' work ethic, though he wonders if he spends too much time "trying to be everybody's friend." Learning how and when to assert and demand and control things like that can be tricky, but Garnett challenges Towns to push himself further than he thinks he can go.
"KAT has good leadership skills because he works hard," Garnett said. "It's whether he wants to vocalize those, which is his next challenge as a leader, to me."
I've been thinking about it more lately and I think Towns is a good dude and I think he really believes some of the cliche stuff he says etc. I do think he hasn't really found his own voice. That seems pretty normal though to be honest. I think KG has some good insights here and is a good person to have from some distance away helping him to some extent.

With how tight he seems to be with kat and wiggs (especially kat) he must know what's going on. And he doesn't seem to be very pro butler.

Is that a trade you would do?
I wouldn't. Where did you hear that Tim?
I'm guessing this tweet below is what he was referring to. I covered what I thought in another thread before when I assumed this deal included Waiters but Tim Basically I don't think it's a very good deal. I broke it down as Richardson straight up for Butler and then a 1st round pick for having to take on Waiters contract which is around 25 million beyond this season which isn't enough as it would take way more than that on the market to dump that contract which is roughly Dieng hard to move.

I don't know why you put any stock in Doogie. He has no local sources, and only guys on other teams that use him to leak their narrative to our local outlets. He has repeatedly been forced to eat his words publicly.

There have been multiple people that have reported this, not just Doogie. National and Miami local media have also reported this. Doesn't mean it is true but this wasn't just a Doogie rumor.

To clarify the tweet I posted didn't have Wolfson as a source but him retweeting a post about the Miami source and he added some additional context which you can take it or leave it and that's fine. It was interesting info that hadn't been posted here before and is worth considering if true.

For what it's worth Adebayo and Richardson both sat out Miami's preseason game today.

In other news the Heat have just resigned Justice Winslow for 3 years 39 mil.
