Taylor has canned three coaches mid-season: Casey had a .500 record, Flip was one loss under .500 and Wittman was 4-15.

I agree. I don't think Taylor can wait on this. It's obvious he can't COACH this team but more importantly I don't think he can objectively make a Butler trade which is in the best interest for the organization. I don't want Layden making a deal either. You can have an assistant coach on an interim bases. Is there anyway he can hire a POBO in season?? That would be difficult with everything going on.

I just finished watching the game...

I disagreed with Abe at the beginning of this thread when he said TRADE HIM. I'm reacting to this game but now I agree. What did Butler do in that game that Nunnally couldn't have? Not a whole lot. That's going a bit too far but shumpert who played a half like he was a freaking All-star was better than Butler in that game.

Thibs continuing to play Tyus and Rose together and having Tose on Buddy was a disaster. It's weird to say take Tyus out but it made no sense to keep him in there after he took that shot on the offensive foul call he drew. Meanwhile Rose got beat time and time again by Buddy. Also Tyus just wasn't good enough in this game. There are over 60 more games to go but unless we are planning on Rose being the answer at PG for the next 3 years or something...it looks like we need to put long term PG on the grocery list.

Belly looked like Belly. Total mixed bag. Glad he is getting an opportunity to do more though.

Terrible offense as poor defense at times down the stretch. This game made me so frustrated with this team. Also I like CJ Williams to some extent but I don't really get why he is getting minutes over Nunnally. I think Nunnally is a better player and more physically gifted.

This one bugged me more than any of the games so far even the blowout games. Those games they were playing good teams and it just wasn't their night. This isn't a particular good teams nd they just blew it a few ways.

Also DeAaron Fox that dude can do some nice stuff. He had some terrific defensive plays.

On jonks podcast he mentioned something to that regard as to why kat and wiggs aren't going to call them out.

1. They are still young.
2. You can't out jimmy jimmy in this sort of thing.
3. How do you call him out when the coach is going to side with jimmy.

Fuck the coach. Towns needs to walk into Glen's office and demand them gone. Jimmy just literally threw that game. And people question Wiggins heart and motor. I've never seen anything so shameful as tonight from a "pro".

Jon made a number of good points in that podcast. He basically said Towns isn't getting involved in this whole mess. He knows he will be here after Butler is gone and he is just putting his head down and going about his business. Like he said you call out Jimmy and get in a war with Jimmy...not going to end well. Then Souhan jumps in and says the irony of that is that's exactly what Bulter wants to see out of these guys is them fighting him and they won't. Dead on. I'd probably react the same way as Towns.

I don't think Glen fires Thibs for a while. I think what Glen might do is make Thibs and Layden pull the trigger on a trade. I think the thing saving Thibs right now is Rose has been pretty good and Okogie even with his flaws a nice looking player. Now if these loses keep piling up...then yeah there could be a change. Let's see what the rest of the month will bring.

Also some people talk about the clear identity. The Wolves have made an effort to play faster and get up more 3's. This team is looking at doing something else. It may take some time...or it may not work.

There is people complaining about Taj here. That's the guy that's currently shooting over 40% on 3's and looking comfortable jacking up those shots. He is playing well.

I'm sure your right on Towns personality vs Jimmy. But at this point personal pride should kick in for anyone. He's making a mockery of your team. I think in spite of the up and down offensive stats Towns has really showed something this year. He needs to step up and take control of this team, it's his time.

We're 4-9, how many more losses do you want to pile up? We realistically couldn't hit .500 now until 30 or 40 games into the season, and that's with Butler. Thibs has no excuse, this is his plan coming to fruition.

From a leadership standpoint, the Wolves are paying two beta males $150 mil apiece. Structurally this team is just flawed from top to bottom

How exactly was Towns supposed to lead with Jimmy being Jimmy? Towns is still 22 and I don't think his leadership style is gonna be one that overshadows Butler. Butler is gone now so it's go time and we have a nice home stand in front of us.
