Yikes! I believe he had one in college too....Not a good trend.

Sooooo......Now that we know this, would the anti-Rubio-ites still prefer Lawson over Ricky?

Interesting question.

@WojYahooNBA: Few teams had Ty Lawson trade interest, but were waiting on Denver to lower cost. His value's cratered now. He needs to deal w/ his issues.

I have dogged on the Kings but I will say they have added some nice talent this offseason and some of it even makes sense. The deals that I don't like was the salary dump where they gave up the future pick and dumping Ray McCallum for a 2nd rounder but Rondo, Koufus, Bellinili and even Caron Butler plus drafting WCS is a nice group of guys and nobody got signed to crazy long term money really. If things do blow up in a bad way they are in a position to rebuild a few different ways. If they get Karl and Cousins on the same page (they should both want that really) things could actually get interesting in a GOOD way for them.

I definitely agree, they've gone all-in in putting together a team to compete, and on paper their roster looks like it should be able to. The thing that should be interesting to monitor is Rondo/Cousins/WCS/Gay, and whoever the head coach is at the start of the season. All 4 guys have their "issues", and having them together on the same team could either prove the naysayers wrong, or blow up managements face.

Needless to say, the King will be a fun team to pay attention to.

I think they are a train wreck waiting to happen.

Karl just doesn't fit with the Kings in any capacity. I don't see how this doesn't blow up. He went behind everybody's back trying to trade his star player. There's just no coming back from that. That video says it all. The damage is done.

It's not a free agent pickup, but the bottom line feed on NBA TV during the Wolves game last night (watching it on DVR now) showed the Blazers picked up Harkless from the Magic for a second round pick. I'd say year one of the rebuild is going well for them. Vonleh, Plumlee, Ed Davis, Aminu and Harkless now to go with CJ and Lillard.

Rubio hasn't been able to resume basketball activities let alone drink and drive! :)

I'm not sure I get the narrative that Karl won't work with Cousins etc. both guys want to win. Karl hasn't exactly had cuddly, team first, sane players his entire career or anything.

Shawn Kemp (I'll add that Payton was a crazy competitor)

Sam Cassell and Big Dog

Melo and I am pretty sure he coached McGee one of his best years
