For the record, I turned it off long before it got out of hand, don't blame me.

That Gorgui layup/dunk attempt sums it up. This has been "Shaqtin' a Season". Never seen a dumber team. This was a replay of the Memphis game, up big early against a shorthanded team, looking dominant, then forget how to play basketball. So many dumb games this year. No toughness. No heart. No bench. NO DEFENSE! And then the Thibs unending screaming sourface, I get sick of it on TV, can't imagine what the players think of it by now.

Fuck it, I think I'm out for the season. Time to let apathy set in and wait for the ping pong balls to fall.

Next season's optimism campaign will be a carbon copy of this year. We'd be fools to fall for it again.

What's weird now is that unless you avidly follow this team, one would be surprised as to why our record is what it is given the talent here.

I thought I went overboard this past offseason, so took what I thought was a realistic guesstimate of 43 wins. We're staring at 29 or less after this loss. We literally have made no progress this season.

You know how people question if Ricky can be successful in today's NBA without a jumper? I'm starting to wonder if Thibs can be successful in a league where now scoring 110, 120 points is normal again. And honestly, for a developmental season (which wasn't supposed to be), he's only giving a damn about 3 players on the team (now 2 with LaVine out,) and with such commitment to those three, they look like the crappiest trio defensively we've ever had.

For what it's worth, the guys who seemingly are on their way out have played as good as anyone on this team (Jones, Bazz, Rubio)

I don't know.....their failures have been a team effort. Rubio and Bazz had miserable starts to the season.

I'll never fall for another Euro League MVP ever again.....Kirilenko is the only good one in the last decade!

Don't blame ya Mrmisty. A few of us die-hards will hold the fort down around here, but I totally understand why folks would turn to other endeavors, such as reading a book, watching re-runs of Alf, doing chores, going to the dentist, visiting the in-laws, being tortured.......

I think watching this team is technically still torture! How many years since the playoffs?

3-18 shooting from our bench won't get us wins. Ever! honestly, only three guys on our entire roster currently can score with efficiency. (Kat, Wiggins, Bazz) we must be the easiest team in the league to scout and prep for!

I took my daughter tonight thinking we might see some good energy play. We took a HUGE step backwards falling into the exact patterns that put us on a losing trajectory.

In parts of the firat half we moved the ball well and we're rewarded. Then we stopped.

At no time did we play even decent help defense.

I was particularly disgusted with KAT's laziness and lack of court awareness on defense. There was a single play that exemplified our issues. One of our guards dropped a pass of for KAT between the hash and half court and Cunningham straight up outhustled KAT to the ball. Towns fell into Cunningham and expected the call.

At 20 years old, KG would have flogged himself for a week for his lack of discipline, he would not have argued the call.

I need a shower. I feel dirty.

I have to admit I was stunned when I got home last night and saw this depressing box score...what a disaster. Worst loss of the year? I read the game day thread, and it sounds like more of the same. The defense must have been horrendous to give up that many points at home to a bad team. Any observations about why we struggled so much on D last night, or did we just run into a hot team?

On the positive side, at least the box score tells me Wig, KAT and Ricky all had good offensive games. We can't be losing to the Pelicans though when the three of them are that efficient on offense. Truly a depressing result.
