Mbah a Moute: 4 pts (2-5), 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 assist, good defense. I'll take that. Love his energy.

Luc is legit .. also there is quite some chance that Adelman could love him and give him minutes, today it was big time change to have one more guy who can share minutes and give some rest to starters

He also was second on our team with a +10.

I'm not sure he's exactly what we needed, but he certainly is an upgrade over Hummel in the rotation. It was fun watching him guard Vince Carter, as I'm not sure Carter made a single shot while Luc was on him. He checked Monta a little bit too, but that's a really tough matchup for anyone.

The thing our guys need to remember is that Luc can get over screens, unlike some of our other guards and wings. They only need to hedge for a half-second or so. He showed numerous times that he can fight through a screen and then contest the shot.

So is Luc that guy we can bring off the bench when a guy gets hot and use him to shut them down? I only saw the 4th quarter yesterday and was glad to see him getting some burn, but I was 2 martini's into the night and was not able to pay to close of attention.

So I guess the blind love has begun, much like that for DC on this board.

What I saw was a very good defender, who was a train wreck offensively. That stat line left out the 3 TO's and the 31 TS% on the night that included 0-3 from the charity stripe. Shutting down an over the hill Vince Carter isn't much to crow about.

The wolves won last night because they shot 50% from the field. That will happen on certain nights, particularly against a poor defensive team like Dallas. The one thing that stood out to me, is how easy Love shoots the fifteen foot midrange shot. It dawned on me that other than DC, we don't take many short to mid range shots as a team in this offense.

One thing I did notice was that JJ shouldn't be playing with starters. He might be a good be a good fit off the bench as a scorer, but with other options on the floor he doesn't do much to help. If he wasn't overpaid I would say trade him and let Price take his minutes. I wonder if Boston would have interest in him.
