I know it's mop up minutes in a blowout, but it's interesting that Shabazz's first minutes will be at the 2.

Well shit. I'm sitting here with one window watching a Wolves feed and the other with the Wild feed. I've been mostly on the Wolves as I've already seen a bunch of Wild games this year. I've seen each of the three Montreal goals scored moments after switching tabs over to the hockey. :anxious:

I'm afraid to tab over again and be responsible for the Wild losing.

*K-Love: 24 pts, 12 reb, 2 ast, 2 stl.
*Rubio: 14 pts, 10 ast, 5 stl, 2 reb.
*Pekovic: 15 pts, 10 reb.
*D-Will: 10 pts, 7 reb.
*Barea: 10 pts.

Our guys looked great all game long on both sides of the floor. I'm extremely happy with tonight's game. 2-0 baby!

No question about it, cam...great stats for lots of our guys.

But I give the game ball to Corey Brewer for the job he did on Durant. His defense on Durant in the first half was like a punch in the mouth OKC couldn't recover from.

100% agreed. Was just going on a Twitter rant about him. Corey was denying ball all game long and when Durant did shoot he had a Corey Brewer hand in his face almost all of the time. I know this OKC team we beat was without Westbrook tonight, but I still think the Wolves can be a special team. Our big three (Love, Pek, Rubio) was phenomenal, all getting double-doubles without any of them playing 30 minutes. Is it scary that we played this well and K-Mart didn't have a good game offensively? Once all cylinders get clicking, watch out.

Yeah, a lot of people try to downplay Brewer's defensive impact. I don't see how anyone can make that claim any more!

There is always going to be one or two guys not having a good game, the difference with this Wolves team is it appears to have the depth to excel when a couple stars don't show up.

It's because he's skinny with short arms!

Lol he was great and has looked great through two games. I think he's best as a starter with this group for reasons already mentioned. He puts all of that energy and hustle into the things he's best at: fastbreak releases, defense and cutting. I may very well be on a victory high ;), but Corey's changing my thoughts about our SF situation with his play.

Brilliant win. Breathing a sigh of relief seeing Williams in the rotation and playing within himself and the system. He can absolutely be a factor coming off the bench for us. Let's hope he keeps this up.
