Barea played well tonight with 10 points on 4-9 shooting and 6 assists. We finally had someone else in the second unit hit some shots -- in this case Dante. I like the way Shved's been playing lately so maybe we should go with him instead of JJ, but I think JJ was the right call by Adelman tonight.

Luc made sense tonight to match up with Evans and Gordon and he did a pretty good job on both. I don't think Shved would have had much success against Evans, may have been able to handle Gordon

Yeah, Luc is just the perfect combination of size and lateral foot speed. Where Brewer or Shved might get whisked aside by stronger wings or caught out of position while gambling for a steal, Luc holds his position. This is especially important with a guy like Tyreke Evans, who uses his strength to get in the paint. And where Budinger may get blown by quicker wings, Luc can move his feet and react quick enough to stay in front of guys. He's just a really good defender that can guard multiple positions and player types.

Now we need to get Budinger on track offensively. He needs to step up.
