He had a couple beautiful plays in the 2nd half but otherwise was invisible again. I was hoping he would come out with some fire though the Kings were certainly paying closer attention to him after the half.

Daniels certainly earned a shot at regular minutes going forward. He could be a very nice pick up off the bench!

As I said earlier, the young guns continue to give us reason to believe!

I agree to a point, it is not like he was not aggressive, he was very aggressive, he just missed shots it happens

Ugh, we had everything in our favor to win this game. We were playing at home against a slumping Sacramento team that was playing the second night of a back to back. For most teams, that is almost a guaranteed win, but not us.

The defense, especially in the first half, was absolutely atrocious. I realize that Dieng is no match for Cousins no matter how hard he tries. What pissed me off were the wide open layups off a number of our missed shots, where we just didn't have our perimeter guys make any effort to get back once our shot went up. That just should not be happening.

You can also tell that the wolves are getting better because we are starting to get a lot more activity on these game threads again :)

Sucks to lose for sure. But big picture I like the progress some important players are making as the season progresses and if anything with Rubio back soon their draft position is going to drop enough. With Rubio and Martin back on the floor to close out the season I see this team putting up a record that gives us hope for next season!

I think folks perk up when they see the young guys playing well, even if we are still losing games. But yeah, at least we haven't been blown out these last couple of games.

And while it's nice to see some individual breakout games by the likes of Shabazz and Wiggins on offense, the team defense has not been improving what so ever. This team won't go anywhere if it can't get stops. Ricky is one guy - he can only help so much on defense.

We're seeing a rookie making some mistakes and he misses some open guys or tunnels once in a while, but he's doing plenty of things well. On D it's mainly his lack of bulk that puts him at a disadvantage against some guys. I'm not disappointed in him in the slightest. We're 2 months into his rookie season and already seeing a lot of good things.

I'm not disappointed overall. I'm absolutely loving that we're seeing progress in his game week after week. I get he's a rookie and an underweight one at that, I'm just looking forward to that game where he puts together two halves of great basketball! He has most certainly closed down the Disappointed in Wiggins thread ridiculousness!

I 100% agree with that and I put 0 stock into how the team played defense with Rubio in the lineup during the year because look at the teams that we played (Bulls, Nets, Pistons, Grizzlies) all average offenses at best. I still think we have some pieces to be a good defensive team. I think it is more mental, like on the fastbreaks that is all mental on not physical, I think that can improve. Wiggins and Lavine should get stronger and that will help a lot. Rubio will help, so will Pek. No Thad next year will also help. I am not saying we will be a great defensive team and I am upset just like you with the D, but it feels like on offense we are figuring some things out.

Here is my version of Cool's 2+1 for Flip specifically:

1) To Khan's point earlier, run your freakin' offense at the end of games. Wiggins is good, but he's not THAT good where you start clearing things out and allow the defense to totally get set. Move the ball and some bodies around a bit.

2) You went out and found a shooting guru to help Rubio. Now fire whoever you currently have in charge of the defense and find someone who pays attention to details and can figure out a way to get through to the players. Whatever you and your staff is doing now is not working.

+1 for giving Daniels a green light to shoot the ball from beyond the arc. While that's a no-brainer for most modern day coaches, I just wasn't sure if you would finally recognize that 3 points is 50% more than 2 points! Good to see you finally shake some things up with the wing rotation and get this guy some burn!
