Ricky's comments about Wiggins: "He's unselfish. Plays team ball. The kid is going to be a great player in this League."

I love this team. And we're good. We just beat a good Nets team at home. I'm extremely pleased. Great team effort.

They're clearly knuckleheads...tonight's game showed he's more of a 14-point guy!
LOL - classic. Rubio might not be a consistent 15/game, but he clearly looks more confident with his shot so far this year. Great game by him tonight. My only complaint is that there were actually a couple times he drove to the rim and should have taken the easy shot vs. attempting another pass.

I'm not saying he had any better options, but it was great to see Flip stay with Wiggins on Johnson tonight. JJ got his points, but Drew made him work for them. And I think he eventually wore him out, and Johnson missed a couple at the end. Really fun matchup to watch!

Loved the win. The starters win this one for us.
Rubio earned his pay for the day. 14pts(6pts in the final 6mins) to go with 12 assists, 8boards and 2 stls. Had a couple of bad turnovers but showed good leadership.
Thad had a double double and 3 stls(1 key stl late in the game). Didnt shoot very well but had a very good all around game. Showed what we heard from the scouts that he will find ways to contribute every game aside from scoring. A good vet to have on this team.
Pek outplayed lopez tonight and big in the 4th. Hope he could stay healthy the rest of the season. He's such a huge weapon for us being our only post threat and a big body to body up big centers.
Martin continues to impress. Hit a clutch 3. Defended and rebounded well. Showed leadership as well.
Wiggins gave us a glimpse of what he could become. He is so fast, athletic and physically gifted that if he could be consistent on his jumper and improve his ball handling, he will be really good. Johnson took him to school in the 4th with his iso joe but wiggins play him as good as you can. Add some strenght and experience and AW will be fine.
The bench was weak tonight outside of dieng. Bazz and brew on the wings is not a good combo. We get no ball handling or shooting from them. Mo was forced to play iso ball in the 2nd as he is the only guy who can dribble, pass and shoot. Add that he had a bad shooting game then it spells disaster for us. AB needs to take it into the paint more. His throwdown dunk was great but he has a tendency to settle on long two's and fade aways.
Overall a great win tonight.

11 rebounds (8 defensive). Thad also put an end to that Johnson vs Wiggins nightmare we had to watch (kudos to Joe) by cleanly ripping him on his dribble. Huge momentum shifter, imo. Led to more Nikola smash points.

It was a coming out party for Wiggy tonight. Our starting 5 is looking pretty solid if he gets going.

Yep, Jim Pete mentioned it once when Ricky didn't take a layup but instead passed to Pek for a more difficult shot. And I noticed Flip called him over to talk to him about it. Ricky is only going to get better as he learns to be a little more selfish.

All five starters were terrific...you could make a case for any of the five being MVP tonight. The bench was off tonight, but I expect them to step up in Orlando.
