I don't think I have ever been so pumped about a Wolves team since the year the Wolves brought in Cassell and Spree. WCF baby, here we come! Lets just win it this time and the series after that one too! How do I parlay the Wolves good fortune into some $$$$. I'm in California, so I can't place a bet... but I do have a brother in Colorado, where gambling is legal. Not sure, he'll mortgage his house to help me, though!

Maybe it seems high to you, but if the team gel well without injuries, the victories will come mainly thanks to:
1. I think it's going to be a big season for both ANT & KAT.
2. Defense - Although we depend on Rudy, it looks like our defense will be among the best in the league (think of a lineup that includes Rudy, Jayden, Ant, Nickel and Kyle).
3. Bench - we finally have a deep and excellent bench (Naz, Shake, Kyle ...), which should win quite a few games.
4. Maturity and a good and healthy hierarchy among the players.
Regarding the maturity, I include coach Chris Finch.
5. Urgency - the window of opportunity for this roster is for one year (at the end of the season financial decisions will have to be made).

Good to hear from you Eitan. Very bullish prediction indeed! I agree that defense could be a real strength and perhaps even top 5 or 6 in the NBA this season. Not sure we have anyone that needs to be truly hidden during the regular season.

If it's not too late yet, put me down for 56 wins. I was thinking 58 to tie their best season, but I dialed my optimism back a few.
