I had this thought also. He is signed for 2 years cheaply so I’m not sure what Memphis would be willing to trade him for. It will be interesting how things look on another month. The Wolves could be an interesting landing spot for a buyout guard.

I think we need another shooter and that's not Derrick Rose.

I’m just thinking of guy that won’t disrupt the chemistry he’s been here. I think he would gel well with these guys and I know he’s not really 3 pt threat but you always need guys that can take someone off the dribble.

Rose also has some legit playmaking ability too which helps offset the fact that he isn’t exactly a guy that’s gonna help a ton with 3 point shooting. I agree with Q the Wolves could use more shooting but up to this point the Wolves also could use a guy that can get a bucket. The issue with Rose is that he is 35 and has problems staying healthy which is one reason he is on a cheap contract. That may also mean he won’t cost much to trade for. Ideally Shake starts to play better offensively and becomes something like Rose as a combo guard. I’m not all in on Rose or anything but I think there is merit in the idea of acquiring if it’s cheap.
