I think Ant has been making better reads when the D collapses. Everyone he is passing to this year is shooting like hot garbage outside of NAW. Naw is at 43%, Ant is at 42% from 3, Conley is closest at 36.5%. 2 people out there with Ant (Jaden and Rudy) are basically one way players.

Rudy was our worst player tonight, but the greatest Timberwolf ever made 1 out of 7 3's, had 5 turnovers, and was seen yawning on the bench...worn out from a big Sunday night on the town, Ant?

I'm glad this story is done being written so I don't have to watch anymore. Ant has failed at being the greatest Wolf of all time. /thread

I think the real issue is that Ant has been playing really poorly for about 10 games now and it is still very much debatable whether he is our best ever player at 23.

KG won a MVP. Ant isn't close if we're being honest. I predicted he would this year too. So I'm all in.
Ant's next step is to win an MVP to get in the conversation. Then play like 1st team All NBA for several years and during that time lead the Wolves to a chip (or at least finals appearance). He is then the best Wolf ever.
It's not a debate right now.

I think there needs to be serious thought about if Ant is put into his best supporting cast, which is the stated goal for TC. It would seem the pieces are there but it's not coming together.

I just watched a tiktok that was do you want Anthony Edwards taking the last shot.
Ant is now 2/18 (11.1%) on shots to tie or take the lead in the final 24 seconds of his career. His narrative of him being a clutch is so false.

Wow, I have to admit I wouldn't have thought that. Perhaps I'm a prisoner of the moment, because I have two terrific late game shots he made from the left side. But this tik tok is quite damning.

He absolutely has to improve his late game execution, which isn't just making shots, but also determining what a good shot is and whether someone else has a better one than him. I also question Finch's late game play calling. Is Ant blowing up well drawn-up plays by Finch by freestyling or is Finch and his staff just not very good at it?
One thing I'll say that this narrative misses is that Ant has helped us win a handful of close games over the years with clutch defense (not against Memphis though).
