Missed free throws and stupid turnovers during crunch time. Wolves were tied, with the ball, and turned it over twice just posting up.
Now they cannot inbounds the ball. They cannot do the simple things when it really matters.

Embarrassing. I was feeling pretty good when we had the ball and a tie game, but then all the BS you mention happened. 4 consecutive games now where we have been terrible in the 4th quarter.

Jaden scores 8 quick points to start the game and then is largely left out of the offense. Instead we get treated to another clutch performance by Julius going 2-13. It seems running it back looks just like last year, go figure.

And its happening when the ball isn't in Edwards hands. This is the basis of trade talks. People dont want him dominating the ball but his teammates are too damn shaky with the ball. I would have rather had Ant dominate the ball and his teammates probably agree.

I had this one in the loss column before the opening tip. So, I gotta be happy we hung with them as well as we did!
It's our clutch-time execution that, for the 3rd game in a row, turned a victory into a loss. I don't know what the answer is, but somebody has to figure something out. Maybe it's Shannon?!?
And that is the encouraging thing -- Shannon is playing really well now that he is back healthy. I hope to see his minutes grow.
The bench, once again, kind of sucked. Maybe it's not fair to judge them against the Thunder bench, but they have not been playing well. Clark was the first youngling off the bench (although I don't think he played in the 2nd). Maybe Shannon will be the first youngling off the bench next game...

I'm still bullish on TJ being Ant's back court mate, if TC can resist a trade.

In 13 minutes of play, Mike Conley had 2 points on 1-4 shooting and 2 assists. He was a minus 17. Meanwhile, in 12 minutes, Rob Dillingham had 6 points and was a plus 3. Shannon was terrific with 18 points 2 rebounds and zero turnovers in 17 minutes. Mike Conley’s 13 minutes should have been Rob’s and Shannon’s. Would that have changed he outcome of the game? Maybe. But even if not, at least the it would have given more development time to Rob and Shannon while also giving thge organization more opportunity to evaluate them before pulling the trigger on any trades. I didn’t expect us to win tonight, but I’ve pretty much lost my patience with Finch.
