There was clearly a top 6 when I started this thread, but that was before the Suns started playing so well. So this thread now has to address how the top SEVEN are faring. Only 3 games separating second place Denver and the three teams tied for 5th through 7th, so it's going to be another dogfight. We have to sweep Memphis in the next two games, because the following game in Toronto is going to be tough.
The Sun may challenge for the 6th seed, but imo there are only 5 teams that can challenge to come out of the West.

I assume you're leaving the Lakers out of your 5 teams. I think you're probably right, but let's see how they perform once Reeves comes back.

I am, but that's a good point.
My 5 team selection is based on assessing who has a chance to beat OKC in a best of 7. I'm hard pressed to give the Lakers any chance to do that.
I wouldn't favor any of the other four teams, but I do think they all have a realistic shot. SA are actually the least favorable of the group in my opinion due to their inexperience and lack of high end talent outside of Wemby. Lot of good players down their but no one that I would comfortably put in the NBAs top 50

Most of our competition is in action tonight. As usual, I doubt we get much help, which means dropping from 5th place down to the play-in at 7th place. Oh well. The Wolves need to keep stacking wins, and eventually our competition will drop a game or two.
That 5-game losing streak really sucked!

Nice 3rd quarter by the Knicks after the Lakers looked sharp in the 1st half. Let’s see if the can do the Wolves a favor and hold on in the 4th.
LeBron is still a dominant player…

Could be a good night. Go Knicks, Clippers and Thunder.

Lakers lose! About time the East starts stepping up, sheesh!
Clippers are up on Phoenix. Man, what an in-season turnaround for them. They are playing really well. Can they stay healthy? Also, when does Durant get dinged up and take his annual leave? Can't believe he's been so healthy this season so far.

Apparently, KD has already been ruled out of their game tomorrow with an ankle sprain. Unfortunately, they’ll probably beat the Pacers anyway…

Suns, Rockets and Lakers all win. Wolves are back in the play-in. And their prospects are not looking good tonight…

I'm interested how the troops play tonight if nothing happens beforehand.
