I'm curious about Shannon. Yes he hit some big shots but how else did it look? From what I've seen his shot looks great so it's reasonable to me that he can be an effective 3 point shooter, but what about the defense? Did he impact anything else or was it just the hot shooting?

It's very concerning that such an old prospect is having trouble with the "do stuff" nature of being a rotational player
You'll probably get differences of opinion on TJ from various people here, but since no one has responded, I'll give my views. We probably don't win the game last night without the three big 3-pointers he made. Having said that, I was quite excited about us drafting him, and he has disappointed me. I love how hard he works at both ends and his relentless drives to the basket, but these are my concerns:
1) He was a 34.7 3-point shooter in college, and has actually had better success in the pros. But I don't like his shooting form, and I think his ceiling on treys in 35%...but he'll probably be lower. I hope I'm wrong.
2) His lack of a right hand is a big problem. When he gets the ball on the right elbow, there is really nothing that he can do effectively.
3) I thought he had the reputation of being a plus defender in college, but I think his defense has been terrible...and not very good last night. A lot of effort, but not much defensive IQ. This year the Wolves give up an absurd 17.9 more points per 100 possessions when he is on the court compared to off...far and away the worst on the team. Some of us have been concerned about Ant's lack of effort on defense this season, and sure enough, he is second worst on the team giving up 7.2 more points per 100. But still, much better than TJ.
So, I'm far from sold on TJ

Thanks for the response. I'm not sold on him at all. Not having a right hand is killer and too be honest his lack of control on his drives really puts a damper on that ability as far as I'm concerned.

It's a big red flag to me that his best games have simply been the ones where he's hit his threes. It's great when he can do it but if that's all you have to offer... It's just not that useful to me.
Rob has been a horrible shooter this year and yet has still been more useful than TJ because he has a better "do stuff" gene to him, same with Clark
