Clark hasn't been the same since Finch was getting mad at him for fouling too much. That game against Brooklyn when Thomas just killed him really hit rock bottom and he hasn't been able to rebound. I still have hope on Shannon, I think he worked on the wrong things this summer, and was focused on shooting threes and passing the ball. TSJ and Ayo need to be working out together. Clark needs to play free again, if he fouls out he fouls out, but play hard and work on the three this summer nonstop.

The problem is TJ is a thousand-years old and Clark is right behind him. If they were younger prospects, I'd have more hope that they could be molded and improve beyond the margins.rapsuperstar31 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 9:49 pmClark hasn't been the same since Finch was getting mad at him for fouling too much. To me it felt like the 23/24 Wolves for the first time this season. Mainly the 2nd half and especially the 3rd qrt. Was super fun to watch. Most alive i have felt all season with this underwhelming team. I am convinced SloMo being back had something to do with it.

Agreed! SloMo back, and Ayo filling the NAW role.Mnwild1128 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 10:55 pm To me it felt like the 23/24 Wolves for the first time this season. Abe's "No way the Wolves sweep the Raptors, right?" DVR Review:
- Toronto coming out very physical on defense. Amazing how games are called so differently from night to night. Very handsy. A lot of clutching and grabbing. But, if they aren't calling it... it's damn good defense.
- Scottie Barnes is fast and strong. He's very good on defense right now.
- Apparently, this is a game Jaden McDaniels is not interested in playing. Silly silly fouls. He seems all out of sorts.
- On the other end of the spectrum, Randle must be on the good meds today. He's playing with a burst of energy.
- In fact, the entire Wolves team (sans McDaniels) seems invested in this game. Good energy. Sloppy play... too many TOs... but energetic.
- Ayo D. might be slowly finding his role. Divincenzo is doing his thing, too. Both of them on offense and defense are a fun watch, even though they do it in very different ways. I like that combo right now.
- Ant doesn't get calls sometimes... but he certainly got the benefit of the doubt after that monster dunk. Shoulda been a technical.
- Wolves are on a poor run of challenges lately. That's clearly another foul on McDaniels. In fact, there were like 3 other fouls that could have been called before they finally called him for the two-hand shove. LOL.
- 18 points. 12 rebounds. 5 assists. 3 blocks. Nice game, Gobert.
- 11 TOs at halftime. 2 in the 2nd half.
- The deep bench looks... well... ummm... you see.... umm... they look better sitting on the bench. All of them.
- Last game, I shared a boxscore review to show how everyone did well in their role. Very similar thing happened tonight. They all played to their roles. And that's HUGE for a good playoff run.

Listening to Ant, coupled with the recent winning streak, give me more confidence that this team is within reach of a championship this season. Hearing Ant talk about the team as family makes me question whether we should trade any of our current rotation players after this season. If we don’t advance beyond the first round then obviously, we’ll have to make some significant off-season moves. But if we at least get back to the Conference Finals, maybe we just run it back next season as is next season.

... but something about last night, whether watching the fun/energy they seemed to have, and hearing the comments afterward... I think the Timberwolves players are feeling better about themselves.
And that's obviously the most important thing. Good vibes right now.
[Note: Although, I feel like Rudy Gobert really really wants Edwards to pass him the ball more. He's made 3 comments about it this week...]

It was either last night or the Denver game, but ANT went up for a middie and threw a perfect lob to Rudy, which Rudy was not expecting. It went out of bounds...AbeVigodaLive wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2026 3:41 pmWe'll see what happens...Lipoli390 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 06, 2026 1:39 pm https://youtu.be/PqehfGNBK4k?si=9gksZD3KBtk6Erp6

We should use Rudy more. 75% of the work is just getting him the ball at the basket. After that the scoreboard almost always changes.
