Kawhi sitting tonight. And maybe Paul George.
But I think they're still safely in the top 10. Granted, there's no reason that they shouldn't be in the top 6 considering who's on that roster.
0-4 since acquiring Russ.

I keep hearing on TNT that they think the LAC will be in the WCF with Denver, but I am not seeing it. I think they are rating them based on the younger versions of Leonard/George. I think they are a 7-10 seed or worse when/if other teams get healthy.

Yeah...I mean SVG was saying multiple times during the Wolves Clippers game how poor the Clippers were on D. Watching that game I didn't see much to disagree with on that take. The Clippers do have lots of theoretical depth but how much does that matter when the playoffs hit? Are Kawhi and George gonna actually be healthy when that time comes?
There is lots of talent in the west. It's gonna be about who is healthy and what teams actually you know...like play as a team. We watch the Wolves our favorite team most games do what they have been doing (or not doing) and other teams in the west have their own issues too. Honestly pretty much any team that makes the playoffs could make the WCF presumably against Denver. Do I think the Wolves for example have a great chance to do that? No but saying they do or some other team does says more about how I feel about all the other teams than it is having confidence in the Wolves or the Suns or Warriors or whoever.

Yes, a lot of talent in the West, and a lot of balance. Memphis and Denver are far ahead, but I don't see either as super teams...any of the teams that make the playoffs could beat them in a series, and I wouldn't be shocked. That's why I'm so excited about the Wolves making the playoffs this season, because with a healthy KAT, we can match almost anyone in talent. I also agree that the Clippers didn't look very good defensively last game, but PG and Kawhi are elite defenders, and I don't know that I would want to face them in the playoffs. Lue is smart in resting his stars tonight...they weren't likely to beat the Kings on their court anyway, and a rested PG and Kawhi is much more important at this juncture than one more win.

Their stars don't practice and they miss a lot of games. It's not a recipe for success.

I noticed the Knicks have been streaking with 7 straight wins and just dropped 71 points on the Bulls in the first half tonight. I had been hoping they might falter a bit so that 2nd rounder would be better. They were a possible landing spot for Donovan Mitchell but they held off giving up a ton to get him. They are now not far behind the Cavs who made the move for Mitchell.

Bill Simmons has been insinuating that they are going to do hard after Embiid if the sixers flame out or Harden goes back to the rockets what has been rumored he wants to do.
They are having a great season but the thing that is going to hurt them Barrett has sort of become a negative asset due to his contract.

Clippers have a sense of hubris that doesn't seem to be warranted. They don't seem to think regular season games are important and come playoff time they will fire on all cylinders. Which I find presumptuous considering PG and Westbrooks failures in big games. Anyone see the highlights of Draymond guarding Westbrook? Russell was handling the ball in 3 pt territory and Green fell back 10-12 feet into the lane. The guy didn't even glance at the rim. He makes Rubio look like pistol Pete.

The Clippers are actually floundering. They have no cohesion and coach Lue is upset he can't get his guys to practice/play. I don't see them finishing ahead of the Wolves
