absolutely, getting Wiggins alone is one of the biggest coups for a disgruntled star in NBA history. I have been getting a little greedy lately with the rumors of getting tons of picks with Wiggins as well not to mention dumping multiple bad contracts, but in the end even if it comes down to just Wiggins for Love and whatever other salary to make it work I will consider this trade a resounding win and will be very excited for our future.
You're not going to get a better offer for a guy leaving in a year than the last two number 1 overall picks and another first. I think the rest is just filler and we'd have to be giving Cleveland another piece to squeak out a Waiters or Thompson.

I think the idea of accepting this package includes the idea that we dump some guys/allows the Wolves to bring in another more established player at the PF position. I keep saying this but I really think Flip has a nifty move lined up. Is that enough for Love? You make a good point it probably isn't but who knows what the final package will be and how Flip finishes off the roster.

Maybe although I think Flip seems like he is not interested in accepting much salary beyond this year and Landry is signed for what may be a bargin deal or just a bench deal for I think its 3 more years. A less exciting guy I thought of is Brandon Bass. The Celtics seem like they could use a wing maybe they would be interested in Bud and Shved. Yeah that's dreaming but I would think Bass could be had for something he is an expiring and Boston has a bunch of bigs.
I wonder if Paul George's injury makes Cleveland more content to just roll with what they've got. They basically only have to worry about outrunning Chicago to gain one of the top seeds out East now. I'm sure Cleveland wouldn't bat an eye at keeping Wiggins and strolling to homecourt for at least the first two rounds.

Bass crossed my radar, too. But he's already an expiring contract. I would think Boston would rather use Bass as part of a much bigger deal.
If Boston ends up going for cap space next off season, moving Jeff Green makes sense.

Indy was never the team to beat this off-season. It was and still is Chicago, and to a lesser extent Washington. Cleveland was better than Indy as soon as they signed LeBron, and it helped a lot when Stephenson signed with Charlotte. Wiggins ++ for Love is still on course.
