Theycertainly have been struggling. But they have a slew of home games coming up...I see them winning 7 or 8 of their next 10 games, and ending up tied with the Lakers for 7th, just ahead of us.

You know Lebron is out for a min of 3 weeks right. Not saying the lakers won't pass the wolves but no Lebron, Dlo still hurt, and 2.5 games back and no tiebreaker is a decent uphill climb

Which I find presumptuous considering PG and Westbrooks failures in big games. Anyone see the highlights of Draymond guarding Westbrook? Russell was handling the ball in 3 pt territory and Green fell back 10-12 feet into the lane. The guy didn't even glance at the rim. He makes Rubio look like pistol Pete.

Draymond should know how to defend like that...it's how he was defended the last game I watched. Lol I'm not knocking the strategy it's probably how to defend both players a chunk of the game.

Who cares? Let them battle it out for 7th. The Wolves will be sitting 6th when the final buzzer sounds.

Yep, the big win in Sac-Town does put them in 6th by my spreadsheet...tied with both LA teams over whom we own the tiebreaker.

Kek, to your point about the Lakers, LeBron being out obviously hurts them a lot. But if AD is healthy, they are going to be very good...they looked good against us despite missing 2 starters. And DLo should be back soon. While I was never been a fan of his game as a fit with the Wolves, his absence forced Reaves to play minutes out of position at PG. DLo is a big upgrade over Reaves at PG, and Reaves is much better when he can play off ball. I think they're a pretty good team and should end up with 43 wins...like us.

Mavs lose. Wolves move to the 6 seed (play in might be better if the Suns end at 3)

Yeah, it would be nice to avoid the Suns for a while

I gotta think the Suns will overtake the Griz for the 2nd seed, given the problems the Griz are having: Morant suspension and Clarke injury. So avoiding the play-in is a wise idea (sitting in the Buenos Aires airport, heading back home!).

The Timberwolves are the sixth-seed for the moment -- 2.5 games behind the fourth-seed for home-court advantage, 0.5 game away from being in the play-in tournament, and just 2.5 games away from failing to make the play-in tournament.

All possibilities are still in play with 16 games left on the schedule. I also wonder how crucial tiebreakers will be for seeding. Should be a wild finish.

The Lakers take down the Warriors, keeping a 5 seed in play?
