Rush would be nice because he has the size to play either wing position and he's perfectly fine parking himself in a corner and knocking down 3s.

Let's just hope he's over all the injury issues. He played 72 games last season and I imagine some of the ones he missed were DNP-CDs.

David West signs with Warriors for the minimum.

The Spurs have traded Boris Diaw to the Utah Jazz.

Trading 2 core pieces and 2 pieces that will help them improve/sustain future success would be a bad mistake, especially when OKC holds little leverage. I don't think anyone briefed Westbrook is in OKZc for more than one more year.

If Westbrook isn't good enough for all the assets they've been stacking up then who the hell is? Crowder, Smart and the rights to two guys who are years away from contributing for a top 5 guy now to pair with Horford. You do that in a heartbeat. Westbrook is easily the second best player in that conference and would instantly make them the second best team in the conference.

Of course. I'm sure they'll have a couple more too.

We can't. David Kahn wasted our one amnesty in Darko to make cap space for Brandon Roy and Batum! So we're still haunted by Mr. Kahn.

Of course, everyone assumes multiple titles. That didn't happen in Miami -- just one. And they will have some growing pains, such as how the scoring will be shared, and can everyone be as efficient with a lower volume of shots?

And on the bright side... Does OKC drop out of the playoffs?

Um, two. The second year they beat OKC, and the 3rd year they beat SA.

Wouldn't matter anyways as his contract was signed after the new contract went into effect. Amnesty was for contracts that pre-dated the new labor agreement.

Regarding Pek we have to either hope for him to come back completely healthy with his prior form, or hope he plays fewer than 10 games this upcoming season at which point he can medically retire after the season and still get his full salary for the final year while the Wolves would get that space back.
