Triple J to the Jazz for Walter Clayton and Draft Capital. Weird deal. I guess Utah just wants to be in the middle of deal making.

I wonder if Utah will try to keep sitting players including JJ to secure a high draft pick and compete next season. More likely Anderson gets bought out now?

Memphis creates a record 28.8 million trade exception.

Enough to take in NAZ (or Jaden) for picks as part of a Giannis to Wolves trade...

If that were to happen and the Wolves got their 2027 back it would open up some room for the Wolves to trade 2026 and 2028, correct?

In this scenario, we cannot trade the 2028 cause we owe our 2029 to Jazz. We could only trade ONE of the hypothetical incoming 2027, or our 2026 1st.

Trade package was worse than what Jazz got for Gobert. Rise of Keyonte made Clayton expendable as well. JJJ is a former DPOY like Gobert. But can average 20 ppg in a season. So clearly this package is a result of the new economic climate in the new apron cba.
