In college basketball news the Gophers have now beat Purdue twice in a week span, they have to be looking at a March Madness seed in the single digits at this point

I'm happy for the Gophers. I watched a bit of that game while we were eating out tonight.
Earlier I thought my Huskers were gonna keep on their run but they came up short against the Badgers. I think it was the fear of being so short on bodies that they were going to have to play me that fueled them.

Brooklyn beat Philly and I love it. Jimmy was great but had zero assists. Philly has used lots of assets to get Fultz, Jimmy and Tobias Harris in last two seasons and still they had less wins than year earlier. It seems that they might be another team that screwed their future by trying to win too early.
And Toronto lost to Orlando. It seems that they will always underperform in playoffs. Even though they have now different coach and they got a huge amount of playoff experience with deals for Kawhi and Gasol. I still think that they might be getting to finals this year even though they didn't start playoffs too well.

I loved it too Mikke. And I agree that they may have gone for it too soon. But their biggest problem is going to be the ongoing health concern of Embiid. It's always going to be holding them back.
Jimmy played well but tried to do it by himself, which just doesn't work. As far as Toronto goes, they are not getting by a healthy Milwaukee team if it works out that way.

I was just looking up how some players and teams finished the season and did anyone else see that Whiteside ended up averaging an easy double double in like 23 mpg? Even if it could be said he was putting up some empty numbers that's kinda insane. He played 18mpg in April and still put up a double double. He was slacking in March playing 17mpg and only putting up over 10 and 8. I'm not saying this is meaningful it's just something.

Ty Lue turned down and offer from the Lakers to be their coach (remember he has millions coming from the Cavs) and it's being reported Kurt Rambis and his wife have a lot of sway in the organization. That franchise is seriously looking like it's turning into a joke.

Hill had a sensational series Monster. Is proving to be a hek of an acquisition for the Bucks.

Beilein leaving Michigan for a 5 year deal to coach the Cavs. This is out of nowhere, didn't even think he was looking.

Teams have been calling him for a. A couple years now. It's still a surprise but not completely shocking. He has done a ton of good things at Michigan I tend to think this hire will work out as long as the front office or ownership doesn't screw things up...
It will be interesting who Michigan gets for their coach. I still can't believe Nebraska got Fred Hoiberg.
