Cavs V Warriors tomorrow. Who you got? I don't think Cleveland is elite right now whereas GS always is. GS win!

Didn't really know where to put this, but the wolves signed Amilee Jefferson to their last 2 way contract. Good for him. Also Spurs lost to the Hawks and now the wolves are the 3 seed. WOOOOO!

Holy crap, I haven't really been paying attention today, so this is the first I've heard of either of those bits of news. I can't believe we are the 3-seed (for now)! Crazy....
As for Amile, good for him! He deserves it. I have a hard time seeing how he could contribute to the big league squad, but it's tough to ignore the numbers he's been putting up for Iowa.

LaVine looking pretty damn good in his first couple games back.
I think most of us on this board didn't think Chicago got as fleeced as a lot of the outside pundits said they did. I think it was truly a win-win deal and Chicago's front office were not as dumb as people thought. Dunn, Markkanen, LaVine, and a nice lottery pick this offseason due to the obvious full rebuild mode post-Butler is a solid deal.

I saw the Spurs result but didn't know we gave our second 2-way to Jefferson. I was hoping we'd do that and I'm happy we did. I wonder if we'll see him with the MN Wolves before the end of the season. He's a really pleasant surprise given what we've seen from Patton so far in the G-League.

Yes, two really nice performances by LaVine. He had 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in just under 20 minutes tonight. Here's a hypothetical. If we offered Wiggins for LaVine and Dunn, do you think the Bulls would take the deal?

Way to hard to know, they don't have another half way decent PG on their roster. I love Zach but we have to remember Zach has not been a good defender in his career, Wiggins does provide an ability to be able for the wolves to switch almost everything, not sure we could do that with Lavine.
It will be a debate for years, also it will be interesting to see what Zach gets paid this offseason. Also matters what Wiggins we are getting, if we are getting the wiggins we have gotten this last month, averaging 18 pts on 45% from the field 5 rebs 2 asts 1.5 steals and 1 blk a game for the month with in my opinion above average defense and a net rating of +20, I would much rather have wiggins. But the question with wiggins is can we get consistently with him and even if he has bad play can he not go into the shitter like he did in December.
*Thibs and Dunn did not get along so I think Thibs wanted to get rid of Dunn.
Win win trade for both teams though.

I doubt it, only if injuries hit. My question is for the people who have watched him a lot more than me, could he be a Taj like player. Is he capable to switch on to wing players. I like that we are rewarding good play down in the G league and I like that we have a G league team finally.

I dont think Thibs would.
He needs to wings that can swtich from 1-4 and zach simply cant give it to.
Sure he'd space our offense better, but we are already a top 5 offense. Butler wouldnt last a season having to chase the quicker player and take the physical pounding of the bigger players.
People attribute our defensive transformation on KAT and Butler, but Wiggs has been a big part of this and often gets overlooked.

I agree Thibs wouldn't offer the deal, especially now that we're set at PG with Teague and Tyus not to mention Andrew's recently improved play. But the more interesting question is whether the Bulls would do that deal. I really don't have a good feel for that, but I'd guess they wouldn't.
Another interesting question is how much it will take for the Bulls to re-sign Zach and whether they'll allow him to become a restricted FA.
