Anderson came out of college as a PG and last night he was our de facto PG even though he was listed as our PF. He's a scorer who can also be a good passer. But he's not our best bet for running the offense. I've always thought DLO played better when JMac's on the court with him. Bottom line is that I think DLO fit this team better when he's effective our SG.

This team seems to be playing better without KAT - more like last season's team but with a big shot-blocker in the middle. I'm not suggesting KAT should be traded next summer. In fact, it's worth noting that one of the Wolves best games so far this season was the one against the Pacers Thanksgiving week when Towns was playing. But I've never been keen on the Gobert/KAT pairing - two guys who can't guard in space or move particularly well without the ball on the offensive end. I've never doubted the talent on this team. I've just questioned the BLEND of talent and whether that blend optimizes the talent we have on the court.

It's great to see the team playing well and possibly developing some consistently and an identify. We'll see how things go. The next 12 games will be a really rough stretch for the Wolves. We'll have a much better sense of this team at the end of that stretch.

It's more about the guards like DLO and Nowell shooting 35% the first dozen games then now getting hot. I can't say DLO and Nowell are getting hot because KAT is out. I don't see the correlation.

DLO is a really a roller coaster type of streaky player too. I would say the games he shoots 30% or worse (fairly often) we generally lose and the ones he is 50% or better we win. He typically is on either end of the spectrum and not much consistency. We need more good shooting nights versus the 4-14 types.

I don't know, F21. I think the spacing and offensive flow are better when Rudy and KAT aren't on the floor together. I also think the flow, spacing and pace are better when DLO is paired with another ball-handler-facilitator like JMac or SLO MO. And I think it helps DLO's shooting and makes the team better overall in some respects. Having said that, there's no doubt that DLO is a really streaky shooter and it helps a lot when he's hot.

Rudy and KAT are both excellent offensive players, I have no doubt they will figure things out eventually to be top tier in the NBA.
