Standing at 6'7" and almost 200-pounds, Procida is a very fluid athlete with surprising explosiveness that he utilizes in the open court. His calling card at the NBA level will be his ability to drain perimeter shots with ease. He has a very repeatable shot motion that he pairs with a strong and balanced base. He's able to get his shot off in a variety of ways despite having a limited handle at this point in his development. Overall, Procida has shown an intriguing combination of size, skill, athleticism, and efficiency while playing for Fortitudo Bologna. Like I've mentioned before, it's difficult to project exactly where these draftees will fall given how closely ranked many of them are, but I would like to see Minnesota use one of their three second-round picks on Procida. I think there's a chance he winds up being one of the better value picks in this class.
Add me to the list of Procida fans. I like him a lot and agree with your assessment, Cam. He's my top draft-and-stash pick for the Wolves this summer. Question for you is this: Do you think he'll still be available at 48 or would the Wolves need to nab him with their #40 pick?

It's difficult to say where exactly he could get selected. Maybe one of the teams at the bottom of the first round decide to take him, especially those that have a second pick in the round like Memphis and Denver. Or does the inferior league he plays in cause him to slip late into the second round? I think there's a fair case for any of those possibilities and his range is as vast as any.
I'd be comfortable with Minnesota taking him at 40 while knowing they still had another pick or two to add talent in the draft. I think there's added value in knowing a draftee could continue developing on someone else's roster. He's under contract with Fortitudo Bologna for two more years with an option to come over to the NBA after next season. I think he would be a wise pickup for the Wolves given his circumstances and their limited roster spots heading into 2022-23.
Here is my final predraft second round big board. I decided to remove Dalen Terry as I don't think there is any likelihood of him falling to 40 despite a few disreputable mocks having Terry available then. In fact, if Terry somehow falls into the second round, I expect Lip will be on speed dial calling Connelly or anyone he can reach in the Wolves organization urging the Wolves to trade up for Terry and only Lip knows how far he'd go to ensure that happens. I also added Keon Ellis and the mystery foreign big that the Wolves are rumored to be looking at, Karlo Matkovic:
1. Christian Koloko
2. Andrew Nembhard
3. Justin Lewis
4. Jean Montero (stashable)
5. Dom Barlow
6. Christian Braun
7. Jake LaRavia
8. Josh Minott
9. Yanick Nzosa (stashable)
10. Keon Ellis
11. Vince Williams
12. Ismael Kamagate (stashable)
13. Gabriele Procida (stashable)
14. Ryan Rollins
15. Julian Champagnie
16. Tevin Brown
17. Orlando Robinson
18. Karlo Matkovic (stashable)
19. David Roddy
20. Jabari Walker
21. Kofi Cockburn
KG - I have a Wolf phone (like the bat phone) that connects directly to Tim Connelly's office. I'm sitting next to it right now, ready to make a call if necessary. :)
I think Terry will be available at #19 and I think the Wolves should nab him there unless they're able to trade up for Dyson Daniels or Jalen Williams. I like your 2nd-round big board. The only significant difference I have is that I'd put Jean Montero and David Roddy 1 and 2 on the list. From there my list is similar, but with some different wrinkles:
3. Andrew Nembhard
4. Jake LaRavia
5. Christian Braun
6. Gabriele Procida
7. Trevion Williams
8. J. Bouyea
8. Bryce McGowen
9. Ismael Kamagate
10. Julian Champagnie
11. Jordan Hall
12. Tevin Brown
13. Max Christie
14. Keon Ellis
15. Yanick Nzosa
16. Josh Minott
17. Jordan Hall
18. Ron Harper Jr.
19. Jabari Walker
20. Ryan Rollins

Good stuff, Lip. I'm glad you got your Wolf phone. You must really like Jordan Hall as you listed him twice. I'll have to dig a little more on him as well as Bouyea and Harper.

KG - I put Jordan Hall in there just for you. :) Seriously, my philosophy when you get into the second round is to look for players who do at least one thing of high NBA value really well. Jordan is a very good high-volume three-point shooter. He hit 36.2% of his threes on a large 6.3 attempts per game. He also pulled down 6.7 rebounds per game and had 5.7 assists. Those are three areas of demonstrated proficiency. I probably should have rated him higher.
Check out some video of Bouyea. He got on my radar pretty recently. I think you'll like what you see.
