This was one of the funnest games of the season, in my opinion.

Agreed, huge win in the grand scheme of things. Also it's fun watching unproven guys get their shot and preform. Also to watch a guy who has been out of the league for 2.5 years have the offense run through him and it was successful is just fun to watch

Big win in the midst of a tough stretch of ball. Just keep hangin' around .500 or a game or two below and the schedule gets easier eventually.

- Nice to see our 2nd and 3rd stringers outplay Boston's 2nd and 3rd stringers. Monroe, Knight, and Nowell came up huge.

- May be Nowell has finally found his stroke. It's taken him three seasons, but just may be he's finally regained what he had at Washington and Iowa.

- Greg Monroe played such a pretty game. I mean, he was almost flawless with every decision. He just messed up on that pass to JMac but otherwise, he played under total control. He ran a big man clinic out there.

- Credit to Finch for utilizing Greg Monroe in absolutely the perfect way. You'd never know they just met a few hours earlier!

- The team came up big in the 4th. Nowell and Monroe were cooking and we were getting stops on the other end. Up until then, Boston had the upper hand throughout most of the other three quarters.

- McDaniels and Layman both played some nice D. Thought those two were pretty disruptive with their length and bounce. McDaniels stil isn't ready for a higher usage offensive role though.

Great win. Go Wolves!

I think Kat and Monroe can play together on offense

On mcdaniels, his main weakness is his loose handle. Sort of like Wiggins. He is playing so much better these last 2 weeks

Thanks brotha. It was blast probably ended up being one funniest games I've ever been to.

Btw the TI seats are totally worth I spent $150 a piece but got full buffet I drank 8 beers which would be $12 a piece so almost $100. As long as you use amenities it totally worth it.

Edit: one last thing what excellent job by finch today. The way he incorporated Monroe on such notice was sure genius. Also the play in the 4th out of timeout he drew up on the Mcdaniels dunk was awesome. Lego man never would've done what he did today.

Greg Monroe when asked if he knows who all of his teammates are:

"Not gonna lie, Jaylen Nowell played awesome tonight, but I had no idea who that was."

Watched little bits of the game between chores around home.

Maybe the 2021 game suits a guy like Greg Monroe more than it did 2 or 3 seasons ago. Now teams are going back to playing a little bigger. He makes a good insurance policy while KATs out. If he keeps it up I'd be happy to sign him till seasons end with the vacant 15th spot. We certainly need another big man.

On another note what a game from Nowell. Always loved the guys game, just suffers from a lack of sufficient playing time. He's playing better than Beasley as of late.

Nowell reminds me of Gilbert Arenas.

I had no intention of watching this one, even though it was my two favorite teams playing. I've taken a bit of a brief hiatus with all of the Covid absences around the league.

But I watched the last 16 minutes or so. And... it was indeed a lot of fun. (And I watched it live!)

I think we saw a bit of lightning in a bottle. But that's what made it so damn entertaining. I wouldn't expect that level of effectiveness over the long haul from Monroe. But damn... that was a professional effort from him. Just show up and win an NBA game with smart play.

As for Nowell... he's on a nice run. I heard Finch after the game and he said there are a lot of factors that go into a guy playing or not playing ahead of another guy. It seemed to insinuate even off the court, or non-coaching reasons. Beasley is on the hook for $45M+ from the Wolves. Nowell for about $3.6M. Those add up to a lot of reasons.

Was kinda hoping we'd have seen a Joe Johnson vs. Greg Monroe meeting at some point.

Playoff (play-in) teams need to steal a few wins during a season. The Wolves just did that... very nice.

[Note: For what it's worth... Ime Udoka lit up the Celtics for their lack of discipline after the game. Called the defensive effort "embarrassing."]
