And now for the game that people may have actually watched the Cunningham Green matchup.

Cunningham looked good on a skill level and his ability to defend and do so often giving extra effort.

Green started off slow and the good thing he did in this game was he was putting forth effort on defense and did a fine job.

I had no idea who a couple guys like Christopher or Sengun (sp) were but both guys were pretty good. At times Christopher played like he was the headliner for Houston not Green. Sengun did a little of everything and just was a fun guy to watch play.

Tyler Cook I can see why he was successful in the G-league last year. He looks a little undersized in terms of height but he is built pretty well. He seems to know what he is doing and always seems to have his head up making passes to open teammates. I don't think he actually played much I'm not sure why maybe they are hoping to bring him back to their G-league team or maybe a 2-way deal. Maybe we can trade Culver for Dembouya (sp)...eh it doesn't matter he didn't look very good. Based on that one game and the fact that I have never seen Culver play in a SL game I might be included to keep Culver. So far Dembouya is a black Mark on my draft evaluation.

Oh and The other Luka (Garza) did well. He got fans out of their seats with a 1 leg dirk paint jumper and did stuff that he needs to do if he is able to make and stick on a roster. He kinda looks like a bigger Wally Z from a distance which is weird. Lol

Bucks Nets

Nothing too exciting.

Nwora had some moments. Well into the 3rd quarter 2 guys were saying he never passed which...was a fair commentary. I leaned over and said "He did pass to Enoch earlier in the game but he was so surprised he didn't catch it" that wasn't completely true but Enoch didn't catch the ball because he wasn't ready for it.

Alize Johnson does some good stuff.

I can't remember if I commented on Reggie Perry or not but he is bigger both in height and built than I expected. He does ok but I was expecting more based on how much the Nets liked him last season. Maybe this is the venue to show his talents.

Thanks a bunch for these game reports, monster.

Sengun could be the steal of the draft. Dude looked like peak Kevin Love (without the 3 pointer) in the Turkish league last year. He'll be another test of whether a big guy can play an old school game in the NBA anymore.

As expected, the Wolves sat Nowell and McDaniels for their final game. And unsurprisingly, they got crushed by a far superior Pelicans squad.

Sorry, but our two two-way guys - Wright and Knight - I don't think are NBA-caliber players. Knight is may be end of the bench material....at best. I give Rosas a lot of credit for unearthing some diamonds over the past couple seasons, but after watching these guys for 5 games, I don't see these two getting much beyond G-League/fringe type guys. Jordan McLaughlin, who himself is a fringe NBA backup PG, is miles ahead of Wright.

I agree completely, Q. Neither one of these two is NBA material.

Jaden McDaniels didn't make the All-Summer League First or Second Team... Ha. Good.

Don't know who votes... or how serious they take it... but neither Nowell nor McDaniels made the 12-man team.

[Note: McDaniels made 2nd team for SI and The Athletic lists.]

I don't know either. I find Summer League play fun to watch. But that's it. I see very little, if any, predictive value in what a player does or doesn't do in Summer League. So congrats to all those who made the All-Summer League Team. Congrats to McDaniels for making SI's and The Athletic's lists. But none of that means anything to me. My opinion of McDaniels is no greater or less based watching his Summer League play or whether he made any Summer League lists.

Well considering I was on record for not caring about a ROY award... I think you could accurately guess my interest in summer league.

Just interesting to see how players are perceived sometimes.
