Ball game. Wolves move to 28-25! Unfortunately, the Nuggets won as well.

This seals it, the Timberwolves will avoid the play-in and catapult right up to the 6th or 5th seed at the end of the season

Minnesota could do a lot worse than standing pat at the deadline. This team as currently constructed is plenty good enough for me to enjoy watching them the rest of the season and reevaluating during the summer. There are definitely some moves I'd like them to explore, but I don't feel like a big shakeup is needed. Let's dance with the girl we took to the party.

I go to check Saddiq Bey's season numbers....I mean, WTF!? He is shooting 39% from the field and 33% from 3 for the season. The guy looked like Klay Thompson out there against us!

- Would like to see Ant help out on the defensive glass more. He has the physical tools to go get practically any rebound he really wants. When he's not able to score in bunches like he's used to, he needs to help in other ways. His man defense was a LOT better in this game vs. @ Detroit.

- Beasley is coming around. Thank goodness too since who knows how long Prince will be out. This is the Beasley that we saw last year. Not just a gunner from outside, but a guy that can put it on the floor a bit and help on the boards.

- Nowell's outside shot has once again abandoned him. So weird for a guy that was such a great shooter in college and the G-League. May be just needs big minutes and more usage?

- Thought PBev tried to do a bit too much at times on defense, giving guys wide open looks as a result. Detroit was making them tonight.

- McDaniels....Hell of a game defensively and made those critical corner 3s. He really helped bottle up guys along with Vando. Grant was really quiet this game because he just couldn't shake these guys loose.

Off to Sacramento now. I'd be fine with a split honestly. We're going to have a letdown game one of these days.

That's Minnesota's fourth consecutive win. They've won 12 of their last 18 -- or a 12-6 record since the beginning of January. The schedule eased up a bit and they've been taking advantage. Need that to continue this week with two games against Sacramento, one against Chicago, and another against Indiana -- all on the road. They have a tough home stand after that, but let's focus on this week first.
