Indiana is getting Ricky. The Magic may still want a PG but they won't have cap space after the Vucevic deal. The Hornets can't open up enough space even if they renounce everyone. Phoenix continues to be the team that needs a PG and has cap space. All those teams that need PG's dried up real quick. It might be good for us in Russell negotiations, but it makes Teague real hard to dump.

I just don't see a team wanting Teague, I hope I'm wrong but don't see it.

And I think Teague holds more value at the Feb trade deadline.

I think there will be a team with cap space willing to take Teague in a deal without having to give anything up. He's a good player at an important position and his deal is expiring. But I think we'd get more value in return for him if we wait until the Feb deadline. Nevertheless, if the Wolves are about to deal Wiggins and sign Russell, then I don't see the Wolves keeping Teague until the deadline. I suspect the Wolves plan on signing Russell and then re-signing Tyus.

Tyus and Russell playing with each other sounds bit intriguing (offensively) and likely a better pairing than any of the other guards we have had that option of so far.

Exactly. Tyus would be a nice backup and change of pace guard for Russell. And as you suggested, I could see the two playing together in stretches. Russell has SG size and can play off the ball.

Sounds like Kemba going to re Celtics. I hate to say it but I'm glad Kemba didn't stay with the Hornets. It was just a matter of time before he was gonna leave anyway unless some young player they had unexpectedly quickly turned into a star.

Also Klay staying with GS.

Woj reporting that Kyrie is going to the Nets. Also Nets are open to a sign and trade to help Russell get to a team of his choice if it works for them. I heard read somewhere they actually may need to move one of their young players to open up more space to accomplish their goals maybe that is what gets a 3rd team involved.

Looks like Rose may be going to Detroit. It will be interesting what kind of money he gets. I wonder if Detroit would be a team that would have interest in Wiggins.

Frank Kaminsky is available. I know I'm higher on him than most but if we can drop Dieng then Id go after him.
