Yup, it's too hard without another option on the floor. He should make those layups, but he was always meeting multiple defenders with kat in foul trouble.
Wiggs needed to be more of a facilitator because he was drawing so much attention.

We lose but we let the jazz know that they are in for a fight the next game. We played 2 games in less than a day. Have injuries galore and playing at road against a well rested team. We will get them on our next game. Im calling it.

Not if we are missing half our team again
Roco, teague, rose, tyus, taj, and dieng. That's alot of absences for any team to deal with.

Someone tell me whats wrong with Dario.
17 minutes
-18
0 points
1 rebound
0 asts
0 stls
0 blks
1 pf
In a 4 point loss with kat in foul trouble and the jazz keying in on wiggins, we needed him to be that 3rd guy.

Wiggs taking some heat for this game. People putting this loss squarely on his shoulders.

He miss myltiple shots at the rim and clearly gobert bothered him. Wig always come back strong after taking a lot of heat. He never could sustain it but you know he is going to give an extra push the next game. Lets see what happens.

I didn't watch the game. Apparently, we fought back from a 23-point third quarter deficit? Impressive. Just looking at the box score, I'm surprised we came so close to winning. KAT's numbers look tremendous, but foul trouble appears to have limited his minutes. Take away the early fouls and KAT probably would have had 35 minutes rather than 28 minutes, which would have likely led to a Wolves win. As much as the team suffered last season when Butler wasn't playing, KAT's presence on the court means even more to the Wolves than Butler's did last season.
But regardless of how many minutes or how well KAT plays, the Wolves aren't going to win many games when one of their other players takes 26 shots and makes only 8 of them (31%) while also missing 3 of 7 free throws (57%). Worse yet, that player, Wiggins, had 5 turnovers. I like that Wiggins had 11 boards and he may have defended well (I'll have to watch the DVR). But Andrew's incredibly inefficient high-volume shooting combined with all those turnovers made a Wolves win almost impossible.
Looks from the box score like Saric was largely invisible.
Overall, I love the fight this team must have shown to come back and almost beat a very good team on the road on a back-to-back.
