Wolves have had the worst defensive rtg in the league since his return. His drtg is second worst on the team behind crabbe.

Fitzs reputation as a defensive coach is done.

Q:

Uh, we've already got two guys on the roster that can help him out - Dieng and Vonleh. And Dieng is our 2nd most accurate 3-point shooter, so he can absolutely space the floor. Put RoCo at the 3 and now our entire front line pulls out the three biggest players from the opposing team out of the paint and we're better defensively. Let Wiggins and Culver share ball handling duties. It's incredible to me they aren't willing to try this. Instead, somehow Napier starting instead of Dieng gives us a better chance to win!? Crazy

THIS SEEMS to indicate that our coach is in over his head. This terrible D is a product of the wrong players on the floor at the wrong time. Kind of like the last 3 minutes of last night's game

In some ways i get it if they are trying to see if kat can be that 1 big and use the season to evaluate him.in that role moving forward.

I'm not ready to make broad based conclusions based on this tanking season. It's essentially preseason for next year. The organization is treating it as such and so it makes sense for us too as well.

I've been impressed with the coaching as a whole. Let's just hope no one hires Vanterpool this offseason as HC. he defense would take a big hit if that happened.

I still like the idea of KAT playing the 4 with a legit rim protector at the 5, but I also wonder how much the teams offense affects his defense.

How much would it help his defense if he had a guard who could control the game offensively (and get him more easy buckets) so KAT could spend more energy on defense?

I also still wonder how this team would look with Rubio at PG.

Here's a thought: how about he show this team how he'd look if he spent his energy on defense primarily?

That would be quite interesting to see and I definitely agree he should just say F it, focus on defense and not worrying so much about his offensive stats.

Poor Towns:

"I'm desensitized to being disrespected in this league," said Towns, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 draft. "I've been disrespected since I came in. It's nothing new when I didn't see my name up there. When you're a person who's been disrespected like me so much, it's something you expect honestly. You're kind of shocked when you do get it."

Respect in the league usually comes with winning. I don't think it's that complicated.

It's a huge red flag to me that he doesn't understand why he's not making these all-star teams and getting these accolades. He seems to be drinking way too much of his own kool-aid. Point and rebounds don't make you an all-star.

What a whiny snowflake. What he doesn't realize is that the more he says things like this, the more likely it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
