This team lacks joy and collapses the second an ounce of pressure is put on them. There is no fight in these dogs. The coach can't be completely let off the hook for that.
Oh I agree I would be dumb if I didn't consider it. I just think we have nobody who steps up when needed. It is hard for me to put more blame on him when I like his rotations and I think we are getting decent looks but we are settling. We need vets
Well, look at all his face and body language, his negativity, his needless yelling, his lack of game time adjustments, his reputation of long tough practices and its no wonder our players don't play with the same joy that they did a year ago. Thibs is just a bad fit for this team and I was in denial at first, but its becoming more evident that Thibs was not only not the best coach for this team but perhaps one of the worst choices we could have made.
This same Thibs debate after games the players piss away is tired and honestly drags the whole board down. Carry on without me. You know how I feel about certain topics.
LaVine's been awesome. He's gotta be in the running for Most Improved Player. It's been a real joy to see his improvements and I only expect him to keep growing.
Towns has some real maturing to do. Caring more about the "look at me" plays instead of making winning plays, or the right basketball plays. He has a very rare skill set, physical ability, and a good motor. He's just a bit immature right now. I suppose the pre-season hype has a lot to do with that.
Wiggins needs to find out why he's playing basketball for a living. I don't see the passion or energy from him. He looks like he doesn't give a shit, but we hear from others that he does care. Have to hope he figures it out.
I wouldn't trade any of the Big Three right now, though. It's too early for that.
Dieng needs to come off the bench if this team is going to be a contender, but we're a ways away from that conflict. I wish he would reincorporate that bank shot into his game. Not sure why he got rid of it. He's solid, but nothing more.
Rubio hasn't been his normal self and as a result, his time in Minnesota may be coming to an end.
Dunn has shown some positive signs. His defense is as good as advertised. Everything else about his game needs real work.
Muhammad's as good as gone. And I will be too for a bit. Hopefully this team can get through the rough start to the season and stop embarrassing themselves. Take care all.

Dieng and Rubio are vets and having the worst years of their career. This is not just about not having vets. I think Thibs has sucked the life force out of these guys. He needs vets that eat nails for breakfast like he does or are really hungry Mofos. Noah, Gibson, Butler....those guys seemed to thrive with his style. Not our guys.
I'm just countering I see your point. Dieng still on his first contact and neither dieng or Ricky have learned to win in the nba. Is it Thibs fault ricky is shooting a career low (his elbow injury didn't help anything).
Of guys who play only Aldrich has played on a winner and he is a career journeyman. Rush has been garbage also but he also got hurt. We have no players that have learned how to win

I would argue isn't sam so similar in temperament. Do we just forget about the rumors of Gorgui and Lavine hating Mitchell.
The wolves have 1 guy that gets consistent minutes has played on a winner in the NBA and he is a career journeyman

I don't know....who taught the OKC guys to win when Durant and Westbrook led them to 50 wins when they were barely over 20? Aldrich played for the Clippers last year - he was a key reserve for a top Western Conference team. Brandon Rush started a bunch of games for Golden State last year in place of Barnes when he was out. Dieng won an NCAA title. Tyus won an NCAA title. Ricky has won a European title. We have vets and we have players on the roster that have won in the NBA and elsewhere.

Oh please, no reason to leave the board because guys rip into Thibs. What do you expect after a loss like that?
Besides, we need your college prospect analysis, as it appears we are well on our way to another top pick!
They're losers. They're being who they are. I've said this before and I'm gonna keep saying it. This is culture. If anything, the Wolves haven't caught on to defense, but Thibs has caught on really quickly as far as becoming a loser. We're like the loser factory of the NBA. It's quite fascinating.
I love how everyone says we need vets, but what vet would risk his reputation to come here? I'll never forget what Andre Miller said after he got bought out by us and signed with San Antonio. He said there's no plan here. In light of KG's second exit, I'm starting to think vets more than usual just don't wanna be linked to this situation until this team performs well in spite of it. When the best you can do is a hometown boy in Aldrich, a journeyman bust in Hill, a victory cigar in Rush (btw, I was screaming for this team to sign Ian Clark this past summer), and John freaking Lucas III, veterans aren't looking at this situation and finding much to like. Here's an example: how many years have we read and heard about how Jamal Crawford likes this team and this situation until he's a free agent and decides to steer clear of this? Same with Dudley, same with Pau Gasol, same with Deng. Unless we're gonna pay someone like prime KG, vets don't believe in this team. Meanwhile we suck in talented players into this losing culture and it never ends.
We're a collision course to shatter the record for longest postseason drought in NBA history.
Thibs needs to get on his knees and beg KG to come back to Sota. KAT is out of control and nobody around to mentor him. Thibs thinks too much of himself.

Just my opinion I think the NBA is a different animal in winning.
Rush is our 10th man/been hurt. And Cole is a journeyman who has limitations. (I like the signing still).
Also with OKC I think they are a once in a generation type. They now have 3 top 10 players in the nba on that team. Do you think can get one at all (towns). Just think they were a different beast. They also had 2nd contact guys in sefalosha, Collison, fisher and Perkins
