Huge when Wiggins and towns shoot poorly we found a way to win.

Game ball to Jamal. I'm not a fan of his game but please give me a game like tonight out of him in the playoffs

I don't agree with Jim Pete on Jamal whatsoever, but we would have lost tonight without him.

I think the thing with Jamal is I like him on our team. I think it is good to have a player like him who can save our butts in some games, like he did against Portland, Utah and tonight. The thing is if he doesn't have it going we have nobody to replace him with and he becomes a massive negative. Huge this offseason to add wing depth so when Jamal is garbage it is a super short time he hurts us

I agree completely, Geek. I liked the Crawford signing at the outset and I've never regretted signing him since. The problem is that we are too reliant on him because we don't have another NBA-caliber wing on our bench if either Butler or Wiggins goes down. Even when Butler and Wiggins are both healthy, we can't necessary count on Belly as a two-way wing since he's more of a 4. When Crawford's shot is falling, he's a tremendous offensive force off the bench. He has guts and is a big shot maker who can carry the team offensively down the stretch as he did tonight. The problemis that he's always a defensive liability and he's a streaky shooter who, when not hitting his shots, is also an offensive liability. Moreover, he's really a guard who can't match up at all at the SF position.

Anyway, a huge road win tonight against a scrappy extremely well-coached Mavs team. Now the key to the season is winning our remaining home games, starting Sunday night against the Jazz.

What you guys are missing is Crawford isn't happy with his minutes as it is. Remember earlier this year when he said he didn't sign up to play 19 minutes per game. You start cutting him back when he isn't hot and it would get messy. I'll say this much, he's hurt us more times than he's helped us this year.

Cool -- That play was emblematic of the problem with Teague as our main PG. He doesn't have particularly good floor vision or playmaking instincts. I've seen dozens of possessions like the one you were referring to here where Teague fails to see open players. He'll either never see them or see them too late and dish the ball after the window has closed. I'm not sure how much of the overdribbling is Teague versus Thibs, but the fact that Tyus moves the ball much better suggests that much of its is Teague. He can be very good when his shot is falling and he's scoring efficiently. But when he's not, yuck.

Yuck. But I've said it many times... a win is a win. Take them. Always.

- The Wolves were bailed out by a 38 year old playing 1-on-5 basketball. There's no exaggeration in that comment. It's absolutely true. And sad. And hilarious.

- Saw a lot of comments about good defense. Ummm... it was Dallas. Resting multiple players. Trying to tank.

- Wolves up 10 midway through the 4th... won by 1 point.

- Teague hurt his back or something.

- Bad hands from Towns, especially in the 2nd half. It looked like 3 or 4 balls got through and actually hit his body first.

- Bjelica was open. But he also passed up shots/drives by being so non-aggressive for his first 29 minutes on the court... chicken or egg?

- Sorry. I don't find the Wolves to be very likeable... sans 29+ years of me being a provincial rube. Ugly style. Questionable effort. Annoying coach. Meh.

- Dallas is terrible.

- All that being said... MN moved up to #5... half-game from homecourt in the 1st round. But also a half-game out of 8th place. And people want to change the playoff format? WHAT? This is fun.

- Keep winning. Even ugly. "A win is a win."

I'm not Cool. Wait...you set me up to say that didn't you? I obviously underestimated your tactical skills.

It is ugly, and they're not a very fun team to watch. But like you I'll take the W.

Lol. It was brilliant, wasn't it? And I didn't even know I was doing it. That's true genius. You have to admit, though, that you'd like to be Cool.

A road win is a road win. For this team (without Butler), there is no bar low enough to get over. It's still a success!
