I went to a small HS in North Dakota. One of the fun things to do was casually bring up the fact that Larry Bird graduated from the school. Pretty much everyone in the early mid 90's had some idea of who Larry Bird was. Then we would say something like"You don't believe us? We will show you his picture!" And make a big deal about going over to the wall and look at the pictures on the wall in the hallway which led to surprise and squinting at the picture. It was Larry Bird but not THE Larry Bird.

Pretty funny, but anyone that knows their basketball remembers that his original nickname was "the hick from French Lick", meaning French Lick, Indiana. My guess is Abe's son would not be duped by your cruel joke!
