Remember when a bunch of us were going to take the over last year? Good thing I never took that bet I never do so but I was tempted. Lol

Not surprising as we're all biased as hell (some more than others). It's been the same pattern for years now. Collectively, we ALWAYS overestimate the number of games the Wolves will win. It's no different this year.

I'll weigh in now that I've seen a couple preseason games. I'm putting our win total at 26.

That famous Wolves Board optimism is in full bloom again...only Abe is taking the Vegas under, while 21 of us are taking the over! I have to admit to a some personal knee-jerk pessimism after last night's defensive disaster...only a surprising offensive showing from Tyus Jones prevented a 30 point loss. If they don't tighten up their perimeter defense and light a fire under Wiggins, my 36 win prediction is ten wins too high...but I'm still on the over!

Yep LST I am thinking my 33 wins is too high. When is the cutoff for saying how many wins? Nobody has 29 yet if I can I will take that spot. Lol

LST -- Speaking of optimism, I weighed in at 26 wins even after watching these first 2 preseason games where we've looked like an 18-20 win team.

I suggest we put a lid on this thread, and fire up a new one a couple days before the opener to rebid. Who knows...if our second year guys start playing well, Ricky comes back strong and we tighten up the perimeter, I might even increase my prediction! That's what I'm hoping for, but I'm pessimistic after last night.

Yeah, I might be feeling a little tepid about that 48... :)

But I am not ready to raise the alarm after two preseason games. There is mucho room for improvement by both the team and individual players. I'll save the alarm raising until after the preseason. If we are not seeing improvement over that span, then there is cause for concern.
